Dr. Sara Bauer earned her dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School in 2007 and later took over the practice from her father, Dr. Stephen R. Young, DDS, who founded the office and is now retired. Dr. Nathan Bauer previously worked with another local dentist before joining the practice, and the couple purchased it in January 2013 and renamed it 417 Smiles. Dr. Seema Nair graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2016 and worked at a community health center before joining Dr. Nathan Bauer and Dr. Sara Bauer at the practice.
