I was referred here by a dentist I’d been referred to by my regular dentist. I am so glad I was!
The experience was great start to finish! I called in extreme pain, my paper work was streamlined and I was given an appointment at the Albany office. The receptionist who initially scheduled me was great! Explained the process, was kind and consoling. When I arrived the following day for an 8a appointment I was promptly buzzed in, kindly/warmly greeted, and seen right away!
The consultation was thorough Dr. Funk and her assistant were awesome!
The receptionist who helped with financials was excellent as well, she was kind, had the paper work ready, clearly explained the coverage and costs, and helped with my doctors note and got me right back in for surgery.
The surgery went smoothly Dr. Funk’s assistant explained everything, made sure I was comfortable, answered all my questions, and explained all pre and post op procedures. Dr. Funk was kind and gentle, she explained everything as she worked, she prioritized my comfort and was super efficient. I am so thankful for Dr. Funk and her team! I would highly recommend their services if you are in need!

Oral surgery is never fun. However, I needed a tooth pulled and Dr. Vu was excellent. Pain free extraction. Excellent chair side manner. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions patiently. The front office and support staff were excellent too! I felt really well taken care of. I hope I don't have to go back, but if I do I know I'll be in good hands.

I had a great experience at this office. I went in for a consultation first, and Dr. Vu was professional yet super friendly — I felt comfortable asking all the questions I had. On the day of my tooth extraction and bone graft, the staff was really helpful in getting me an estimate with my insurance ahead of time. Alexis, the assistant during the operation, was kind, warm, and compassionate throughout. The surgery was successful, and everything about the procedure was handled with care, including the follow-up afterward. Highly recommend Dr. Vu!

I truly could not speak higher about Albany Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the distinct professionalism & exceptional customer service. I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction, the process was smooth and comfortable thanks to the wonderful team who attended me - Dr. Funk, Esther, Wendy, Donovan, Debbie & Kenya. Everyone was caring, supportive of any questions that arose, & incredibly skilled. If you have been on the hunt for a surgery center, your search ends here! This place is a gem!

This office was pleasant from the day I went in for my consultation. I was referred by my employer and my dentist. I heard alot of great things about this office. I have high dental anxiety and the thought of having all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted at the same time had my anxiety at it's highest! Dr. Giao Vu was great to explain everything thoroughly and ensured it would be a quick procedure. The front staff are very welcoming and the assistants are very pleasant. The day of my surgery I was extremely nervous. The assistant Erika, was very comforting and compassionate on how nervous I was. She made me feel really comfortable.
Once Dr. Vu went in to start the procedure he asked how I felt, and I said, nervous! He again ensured that it would be quick and they will make me comfortable and I'll be done in no time. He was right! It was quick and I felt nothing. Post-op as well. They keep an eye in you and go over post-op instructions and answer any questions. Easing up the worries. They also called me later the day of my surgery to check how I was feeling and answered all my questions! Thank you to the team at Albany Oral Surgery.
