I had such an excellent experience at Alpen Periodontics! The team was professional, caring, and took the time to explain everything. Cynthia (the office manager) was incredibly kind and so thorough in gathering all of the details around my insurance coverage for the procedure (it was really nice not having to worry about any of that!) Dr. Rachna Hedge was absolutely fantastic and made me feel so comfortable during the consultation and gum graft. My graft went smoothly, recovery was so much easier than expected, and I’m very happy with the results. I HIGHLY recommend Alpen Periodontics and Dr. Rachna Hedge (I have even already personally referred them to a friend needing the same procedure done!)

I cannot recommend Alpen Implants & Periodontics enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They go above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable and well-informed every step of the way.
I have had to have two dental bone grafts done here, and I have to say that Dr. Hegde is exceptional! Her expertise and gentle approach made what could have been a stressful experience completely seamless. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. It’s clear that Dr. Hegde and her staff truly care about their patients’ well-being.
The office itself is spotless, modern, and equipped with the latest technology, which only adds to the confidence I feel in their care.
If you’re looking for a periodontist who delivers top-notch care and has an incredible team, look no further. This is the place to go for a healthier smile and a positive experience from start to finish!

Such a positive and smooth experience from start to finish. I had my wisdom tooth removed, along with a bone graft, and it was painless—something I honestly didn't expect for that kind of surgery. I also appreciated that the doctor didn't overuse medication and explained each step. Highly recommended.

I've always found dental work to be incredibly stressful, even cleanings are tough for me, so I was dreading surgery. But my experience with Dr. Hegde made a world of difference and set the bar incredibly high for how I should expect to be treated by a provider. She's kind, patient, and genuinely compassionate. She even held my hand to provide much needed comfort when I was emotional after the procedure. Aftercare instructions were given verbally and in writing, she made sure I understood what I needed to do to heal up quickly.
When I texted her afterhours with a concern Dr. Hegde responded literally in one minute, even though she was on vacation. That blew me away and I was so grateful for the reassurance that things were healing well. I felt supported, heard, and cared for throughout the entire process. The staff is just as wonderful; professional, friendly and reassuring. I couldn't have asked for better care.

Had my second bone graft done around an implant, the first was at a different office. This procedure was 1,000 times better!! Staff is so kind, professional and reassuring. I’ve had 0 swelling and not a single minute of pain post procedure. I wish I would have gone to them the first time!!! Highly recommend Alpen Implants, Dr Hesge and her entire team!!

MVPerio Periodontics & Implant Specialists, formerly Alpen Implants & Periodontics, is the Lehi, Utah office of Mountain View Periodontics and Implants, a locally owned group of specialist periodontal practices. Meet the Doctors
Dr. Rachna Hegde leads the Lehi team at MVPerio Periodontics & Implant Specialists. She is a dual board-certified periodontist, holding Diplomate status with both the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Oral Implantology, and she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. She also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Utah School of Dentistry and at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. Her practice focuses on gum health, dental implants, and advanced surgical care, with an emphasis on preserving natural teeth when possible and carefully planning implant solutions when replacement is needed, including same-day implant placement in appropriate cases. The Lehi office is supported by hygienists Tressa Seamons and Annie Capener, along with a team of surgical assistants and patient care coordinators.
