I just had my visit at Benicia Family Dentistry and the staff were all so warm and welcoming. They took time to show me where things were, explain what was being done and why, and took the time to listen to my questions/concerns. The lobby is great, with a little water and coffee bar. They offer complimentary mouth guard/retainer cleanings during each visit, and a warm towel at the end of your visit! I am looking forward to visiting again, I highly recommend if you are looking for a new dentist!!

I had my first appointment here today at tooth hurty and was very pleased with the care I received. From the front desk lady, to the Hygienist and Doctor, everyone was very sweet, knowledgeable, and delivered high quality patient care. I will definitely bring my wife and kids here. Thank you for making the infamous dentist appointment not be miserable. 10/10 recommend!

Everyone was great, I highly recommend Benicia Family Dentistry! I’ve been looking for a new dentist, I’ve finally found a practice that sees me as a person and not a checkbook. The group treated me like a family member, they were kind and explained everything to me. I signed up for their membership program and feel confident that they will take care of me.

Benicia Family Dentistry is exceptionally well run, with a welcoming, highly skilled team and top-tier dentists who are both precise and gentle. The facilities are clean, spacious, and comfortable, which immediately puts you at ease. Monica, Lindsey, and Dr. Patel in particular, stood out for their warmth, professionalism, and clear expertise—they’re outstanding at what they do. It’s obvious that everyone there genuinely cares about their patients and takes real pride in their work. I’ll be recommending Benicia Family Dentistry to my entire family and friends, including my young child.

I always enjoy walking in to Benicia Family Dentists. I feel like I am visiting long time friends when I come through the door. The front office people are wonderful as they have been for years. The dentistry is thorough and always kind and gentle.

Meet the Doctors
Benicia Family Dentistry is led by a team of three doctors: Dr. Shakiba Feroz, Dr. Lara Kachachi, and Dr. Jnana Patel. Dr. Feroz studied Biological Sciences at Sacramento State University and attended UCSF School of Dentistry, and has taken over the practice from Dr. Barry Parish, who retired from practicing dentistry in 2022. Dr. Patel completed the accelerated dental program at the University of the Pacific, earning a BS in Biological Sciences and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, followed by a General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, New York.
