I’m 50 years old and I’ve seen my fair of dentists. My visit with Dr Sharfen has been my best experience by far. From the moment I met her I knew I was in good hands. Making feel comfortable upon meeting her before the actual procedure she made me feel so at ease. During my extractions she was very calming. I had the luxury of having 2 dental assistants with me. One technique I’ve never experienced, as Dr. Sharfin injected the Novocain one of the dental assistants softly tapped my shoulder repeatedly to distract me from the actual injection. It worked. Some people use nitros to help calm themselves, With Dr. Sharfin she is the nitros. It’s too bad that she a specialist otherwise she would be my primary dentist.

I was concerned about a major oral surgery that I was told to get. I got to Dr. Fa's office and was treated with respect, information and a clear explanation of what to expect by the nurses.
Dr. Fa made me feel very comfortable about his expertise and going into this I felt secure.
The procedure went well, I have only been recovering for a few days and feel great!
100 % better than when I arrived. Dr, Fa is an excellent surgeon.

I was referred to Blue Oak from my dentist. I had my consultation for an extraction in their Antioch office and had the actual procedure plus bone graft (for eventual implant) done in their Brentwood office, as the doctors go back and forth between offices. Dr. Scharfen explained the procedure very clearly during my consultation and my procedure went very smoothly. Just had my followup appointment and everything is healing nicely. Dr. Scharfen is very knowledgeable, has great bedside manner and never made me feel rushed. Their staff in general at both offices are friendly and welcoming and very thorough. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Fa and the entire team. From the consultation through the procedure and recovery, everyone was professional, kind, and reassuring. Dr. Fa took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the process.
The procedure went smoothly, and I was very impressed with the level of care and attention to detail. The staff was also friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. I’m very grateful for the excellent treatment I received and would highly recommend Dr. Fa to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate oral surgeon.
