This was my first visit to this dentist In my new town. I was welcomed warmly and treated with kindness and respect. It's a modern office and they did everything I was expecting, and I felt like they gave me great care. I would highly recommend this dental office!

I really appreciated that my dental hygienist took the time to explain everything she was doing and why. The personalized care that Dr. Al provides is exceptional. I felt comfortable, informed, and well cared for. Highly recommend!

I had to take a moment and share my experience with this dentist office. Last year I had a procedure done in which I was given an out of pocket estimate. I thought that the estimate was high based on the fact that I have/had dental insurance. I called my insurance provider and they gave me a quote for my out of pocket portion which was far less than what the office provided. When I had the procedure done, I paid the out of pocket amount of approximately $1,100 thinking that once the insurance claim was submitted I would be reimbursed. I know from experience that dental offices submit billing to insurance companies very quickly after procedures. I called my insurance carrier approximately four times regarding the claim and each time my insurance carrier advised that the claim was not submitted and that they spoke to someone in the office who was going to send the claim through. Never received. Long story short, I submitted the claim myself and was reimbursed directly from the insurance company. This process took two months. I then received a bill from the dental office stating that I owed a balance of the reimbursement that I received. I called the dentist office and was told that my dental benefits were exhausted at the time of the procedure which was incorrect and I owed the reimbursement check that I had received. I then filed a compliant with the insurance company and the situation was finally resolved with me receiving close to an additional $300 for overpayments throughout the year. 1. Why would a dentist office overcharge an established patient knowing that he/she has insurance? 2. Why would you not submit the claim to the insurance company? Other things that I realized after changing to a new dentist: This office has no respect for your time. I have literally spent half days or more for one procedure as the dentist darted from one patient to another. I tried being proactive by calling ahead of appointments to explain in detail situations regarding my teeth and when I got there, the dentist had no idea what was going on. This lead to procedures being done halfway and I was asked to comeback later in the day to have the procedure completed. There are other things but the last thing that I will comment on is text messaging. I signed up for text messaging for what I believed was for confirming appointments. To my surprise I started receiving text messages regarding my inquiries into my bills that I had called in about. Very unprofessional way of doing business. I hope this review is helpful to someone who reads it. I am so relieved that I found a dentist office that is professional, efficient with services and billing, and respectful of its patients time. This would be a review of -three stars if it was allowed.
