My check-in experience was very poor. When I arrived, I was under the impression that my procedure would be covered by insurance because all three wisdom teeth were impacted. However, I was told that only one tooth would be covered, which is understandable. When I asked one of the check-in staff (a nurse, I think) about switching the procedure from three teeth to one, the nurse was very annoyed and frustrated with the change. She made me feel bad for changing my mind because of the financial burden. She told me that I had to hurry up my decision because "the time slot is already almost done." 10 minutes had passed since the start of my time slot. The time slot was not "almost done." I felt very rushed with the decision and left me very frustrated with the clinic. The nurse made me feel like a problem and that I shouldn't have been worried about money. Just very inconsiderate. Overall, the clinic was fine. The rest of the staff was professional, but was not overly friendly. It felt like a monetary exchange, not the caring provider I expected. Dental work is very intimate, and I felt like I was a bother to the staff. Wished I could have gone somewhere else.

My recent appointment was wonderful! I have horrible dental anxiety and Dr. Dyer and his team were amazing, making me feel so comfortable. I knew I was in good hands. I had a tooth extracted and did not experience any pain after! I highly recommend this group. Thank you for making my experience so pleasant.

My experience with this practice was extremely disappointing. From my first phone call, I felt that the staff was dismissive, condescending, and unwilling to work with me to find a solution. My son, who is neurodivergent and experiences severe dental anxiety, was referred to this office because it was presented as a practice equipped to care for patients with more complex needs. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I was informed that because our primary insurance is out of network, they would not schedule him. Although they do accept his secondary insurance, I was told the only option was to place him on a waiting list. When I explained that I was willing to pay the out-of-network costs myself so my son could receive the care he urgently needs, the representative interrupted me and abruptly said, "We can't do that, Corey," in a tone I found unprofessional and discourteous. My son needs four adult teeth extracted, and this office was one of the few providers that seemed capable of treating him. Instead of receiving guidance or compassion, I felt dismissed and was simply told to contact the billing department, which did nothing to address the immediate issue of getting my son the care he requires. I understand that insurance policies and scheduling limitations exist. However, I expected a practice that specializes in treating patients with unique needs to demonstrate greater empathy, professionalism, and a willingness to help explore possible solutions. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Center for Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.

I recently had a tooth extracted and will need an implant in 3 months. From the initial greeting to the actual procedure, I could not have a more pleasant experience! Dr. Goldberg was efficient, very friendly and even had a sense of humor. I did not experience any pain or discomfort. Five days later, the area is healing without any pain. I highly recommend this oral surgery office. Thank you Dr. Goldberg and all your wonderful assistants. So professional.

Every single person who works here is absolutely wonderful, kind, beautiful people who deserve a lot more than my measly 5 star review. In my 30 years of life I have had exactly one dental procedure done, a simple cavity filling 20 years ago. When I arrived anxious and afraid everyone put my mind at ease, they explained exactly what was going to happen, my surgeon even explained other options that were far less appealing than a simple tooth extraction. While I was still a ball of anxiety the procedure was totally painless, the techs were so kind and calming talking me through my breathing, and even told me I did a good job haha. Now I know I probably need to bring a stress ball so I don't use up all their tissues, but I'm so very pleased with the service I received today. I am at ease knowing my problem tooth is gone, just a few days of recovery to go. Thank you so much from the extremely kind and caring front desk staff, to the techs who gave me the confidence I needed to finish the appointment, and my surgeon for being patient and kind with me. This experience has made it so I won't be so afraid to get my teeth looked at and worked on in the future and I can't even start to explain how valuable that is to me.
