Dr. Desai at Central Texas Periodontics is exceptional. I’ve had molars removed and two implants placed, and the entire process has been precise, patient, and remarkably pain-free. He is meticulous and never rushes procedures or healing time—he takes the time to make sure everything is done right.
His expertise is clear, especially with complex work like bone grafting and implants. His team is also excellent and works seamlessly together, making even invasive procedures feel calm and manageable. They also handle the dreaded insurance side professionally, which makes a big difference.
For something as serious as tooth removal, bone grafting, and implant placement, you want someone skilled, meticulous, and trustworthy. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Desai and his team.

The best dental practice I’ve ever been to- better than any specialist or general dentist I’ve seen. Dr. Desai is personable and takes the time to explain everything so that you’re completely informed. The dental assistant I saw, Jazmane, was also excellent. I have anxiety related to dental procedures and she made me feel at ease and heard. Their team is efficient and clearly genuinely cares about their patients. I can’t recommend them enough!

My daughter was seen last year for some work and I am currently a patient. From Dr. Desai to his nurse Jazmin and the front desk staff everyone is kind, professional and communicative. My procedure went smooth and they always made sure I was comfortable thru the whole process.They explain everything thoroughly so you understand what the plan is and how much it will cost. I can not say enough good things about their office.

I had an excellent experience at Central Texas Periodontist! From the moment I walked in, Jennifer at the front desk was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free.
Brittany was absolutely amazing during my procedure. She was gentle, professional, and genuinely caring. She went out of her way to help me feel calm and comfortable, even though I was quite anxious about the appointment. Thanks to her, the whole experience was so much better than I expected.
I highly recommend Central Texas Periodontist to anyone looking for a caring and skilled team. Thank you Jennifer and Brittany!

Couldn’t have been better! The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. Jasmine immediately made me feel relaxed and explained everything. Dr. Desai was most thoughtful throughout the surgery and explained what he found (unexpected) which explained why I was having a portion of the discomfort. He is amazing!! I had very extensive gum surgery without any pain! Deserves a 10+++. Can’t say enough good things about the team!
