I can’t say enough wonderful things about this office. From the moment I walked through the front door until my follow-up appointment, every single person I encountered was exceptional. The front desk staff, dental assistants, and dentist were all incredibly kind, empathetic, and professional. You can truly feel that they care about their patients. I came in for an extraction carrying a lot of fear and anxiety because of a previous traumatic dental experience at a different office. The very first dental assistant who brought me back immediately recognized how nervous I was. She slowed everything down, explained each step, answered my questions, and treated me with so much patience and compassion. She made me feel safe from the moment I sat in the chair. The dentist, Dr. Karsten Winter, was just as amazing. He took the time to explain all of my treatment options honestly, answered every question I had, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. What stood out to me the most was that I never felt like I was being “sold” a treatment. Instead, he focused on my needs at the time I needed them, helping me make the decision that was right for my health and my situation. That honesty and integrity meant more to me than I can express. During the extraction, he was incredibly gentle and reassuring. Even the numbing injections were virtually painless, which completely changed my expectations after my previous experience. He checked on me throughout the procedure, apologized when my jaw became tired from keeping it open, and treated me with genuine kindness and respect. My follow-up appointment was just as wonderful. The same dental assistant who welcomed me on the day of my extraction also removed my stitches. She was just as gentle, patient, and compassionate during my follow-up, making me feel completely at ease once again. That consistency in care spoke volumes about the entire team. I also want to recognize the incredible front desk/check out staff. From the very first phone call to every interaction afterward, they were nothing but patient, kind, and reassuring. I know I called multiple times with questions, and my husband called as well, yet they never once made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. When they saw how nervous I was, they met me with compassion instead of frustration. Their kindness and willingness to answer every question helped ease my anxiety before I ever walked into the treatment room, and I will always appreciate that. As someone who works in healthcare myself, I understand how important compassion and empathy are when caring for patients. This office didn’t just provide excellent dental care—they made me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for every step of the way. At my follow-up appointment, I was told everything was healing beautifully. After years of carrying fear because of a previous dental experience, this team gave me something I never expected—they restored my confidence in going to the dentist. Thank you for not only taking care of my tooth, but for taking care of me. You didn’t just perform an extraction—you helped restore my trust in dentistry. I will always be grateful for the care, kindness, and compassion each of you showed me.

location is great and modernization of the facility is in the works. not too crazy about the optional fluoride rise for $25. if it WERE important, it should be included with the cleaning or not offered at all if only negligibly important. also not too crazy about scheduling staff canceling my appointment the day before if i don't respond to their calls. i am busy at work and don't always have time to talk when convenient to you

Everything about this office is great! Doctor Williams and the entire staff are very friendly and professional. They do everything possible to make you feel comfortable and at ease from the moment you enter the door . They are extremely professional and very good with insurance. All costs are always made clear. They are truly great! I simply can't say enough and I totally and completely recommend them!

Dr Winter & Dominique & Laura took such wonderful care of me during initial 3 crown procedure work. They all deserve raises for their high standards of professionalism & kindness & great senses of humor! Nyomi prior to & after work done was/is consummate kindness incarnate, she deserves a raise & bonus as well.

I had a great experience at City View Dental for a routine cleaning. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The office is clean and well-run, and the hygienist was thorough yet gentle. I highly recommend them for quality dental care.

About City View Dental

City View Dental is a general and restorative dental practice located at 1717 Brown Street in El Paso, Texas, serving patients throughout the city with a range of services that includes dental implants, All-on-X full arch implant treatment, dentures, oral surgery, and family dentistry. The practice describes offering tooth removal and extractions, bone grafting, and cosmetic gum surgery alongside implant care, which can matter for patients who need preparatory procedures before implant placement. The office also treats TMJ and teeth grinding and provides sleep apnea care, so patients dealing with related jaw or airway concerns may be able to address multiple issues at one location.

The practice is staffed by a team of general dentists rather than a single provider, and its website lists several doctors who see patients at the Brown Street location, including Dr. Adriana Artalejo Goff and Dr. Karsten Winter. For patients considering implants, City View Dental's combination of general dentistry, oral surgery, and full arch implant options under one roof may simplify treatment planning, though anyone considering All-on-X or full arch work should confirm during a consultation which doctor will be handling surgical placement versus restoration. The office is located in central El Paso, making it accessible to patients from throughout the city.

Meet the Doctors

The practice's clinical team includes four dentists: Dr. Jake Williams, Dr. Adriana Artalejo Goff, Dr. Alex Havig, and Dr. Karsten Winter. Dr. Artalejo Goff is a native El Pasoan who earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Texas A&M University before earning her dental degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry and completing a general practice residency in Arkansas. Dr. Winter, also an El Paso native, focuses on gentle, patient centered care with an emphasis on esthetic dentistry, including clear aligner treatment. Dr. Williams is a graduate of Creighton University Dental School who has practiced in several states and offers sedation options for anxious patients, while Dr. Havig is an experienced general dentist skilled in services such as dentures, crowns, and implants. Patients considering implant treatment should confirm during a consultation which doctor will handle surgical placement versus restoration.
