Nice staff. Great dentist. He takes the time to listen. Offers all possible treatment plans regardless of insurance type. Straight to the point. Does whats best for the patient.

Yikes, not sure how he/they have so many 5 stars - maybe it used to be better? Went for first appointment/cleaning a couple months ago and it was not clean or a pleasant experience. The floors and equipment looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in years, the water from the mini sink connected to the chair tasted horribly musty, and the dentist had terrible bed side manners. He was very short with me, seemed put out by any questions I had, and was also completely unaware that he was squishing his belly into face while he was working on my mouth... I went to another dentist office shortly after as I did not feel comfortable going back, and the difference in cleanliness and level of care totally reaffirmed that decision!

I've had some horror dental experiences in Hawaii and on the mainland. My partner and I went to Wakano for a cleaning that went well. Yesterday, we both got fillings. It was quick and painless and he even helped me with a recurring stain on one of my teeth that bothers me just as a nice gesture.Super nice guy and we felt comfortable. I'll be going back to him in the future.

Dr. Wakano and his staff are professional and very friendly. The have always been able to accommodate my family’s dental needs. Visits are quick and thorough, very little wait time. Highly recommend them for anyone in need of a dentist.

I've never been treated more rudely by a dentist in my life. No care, no kindness, he just treated me like an annoying burden and I've had enough. Being poor there isn't a lot of choices for state dental but unless you dont mind being treated like rubbish, feel zero pain and zero nervousness with dentists do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
