I was a little hesitant at first as you do most communication through text. It is also 50 miles each way from my home.
That being said Ì was very pleasantly surprised. They are very busy but you don’t wait long. Everyone is so incredibly nice and helpful . The oral surgeon is only there on Saturdays so there’s a tiny wait for that. But their scheduler Maynard is a gem. My daughter is getting married in October and I’d love to have my teeth in better shape by then. He put me on the waitlist and was extra kind. Before they closed that same day he called with a cancellation for that very Saturday. He was honestly so happy about it too. He definitely goes above and beyond and I’m so thankful!!! Everyone is exceptional and I need to do better about remembering names. Everyone deserves recognition Thank youa

RUDE !!! do not recommended
I was trying to establish care with your office today. It was 12:48 PM, and the sign on the door said the office would return at 12:45 PM. I could see the receptionist inside, so I waved to get her attention. She responded by saying, ‘The office is closed during lunch, ma’am,’ and appeared annoyed, even rolling her eyes.
My confusion is that the sign stated the office would reopen at 12:45 PM. If the office was not actually ready to reopen yet, how would patients know that? Perhaps the return time on the sign should be updated to reflect when staff are actually available, such as 12:50 PM or whatever time is accurate, to avoid confusion..

I want to say how great Crown Dental is. There are two young ladies that are at the front desk that are awesome. They are so kind so patient and so caring. They really helped me through a very painful time and got me to see who I needed to see for help. I am very grateful to them for being so wonderful. I enjoyed meeting the Doctor And the doctors assistant, and all the other people that were so kind and wonderful there it is actually a very great place to get your dental needs. Taken care of. God bless them all.🙏🏻💕

Brought my 16 year old son to schedule an appointment to get his wisdom teeth removed. When called to desk I sat right across receptionist. The lady had the audacity to ask me if I was Luis, my son's name. I kept my composure as I do have common sense and 20 plus year in customer service. I switched seats with again my 16 year old. Dentist do a great job, my son healed in no time. Some team members need more training on how to speak to patients with respect.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted politely. The place is clean and orderly. A bit cool but all medical offices maintain a cool temperature for hygienic purposes. The lobby tv monitors show nice relaxing drone footage of natural landscapes instead of divisive news channels. Every person that attended to me was also polite and professional.

About Crown Dental Group
Crown Dental Group is a multi-specialty dental practice in National City, California, serving patients since 1984. The practice brings together general dentists and in-house specialists, including oral surgeons and periodontists, to coordinate implant care under one roof. For patients considering dental implants, this means treatment planning, surgical placement, and restoration can often be handled by the same coordinated team rather than being referred out to multiple offices.
The practice offers a range of implant-related services, including implant dentistry, All-on-4 and All-on-6 full arch options, and same day implants, supported by CBCT imaging and digital impressions to help plan treatment. Crown Dental Group also notes it offers sedation and general anesthesia options for a more comfortable experience, and the office accepts DentiCal, PPO, and HMO insurance as well as CareCredit financing, which can help patients plan for the cost of implant treatment.
Meet the Doctors
The practice's clinical team includes Dr. Douglas Ness, DDS, who holds Diplomate status with both the American Board of General Dentistry and the American Board of Oral Implantology, a credential the practice describes as making him a recognized implant specialist in San Diego. The team also includes Dr. Jared Gibbons, Dr. Hassan Haidar, Dr. Christian Bastien, Dr. Allen Newman, and Dr. Marco Casco.
