Best dental practice I have ever used anywhere! Everyone on the staff is friendly, professional, and highly skilled in their particular field. The office is modern and comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Was not told that my insurance was not accepted until after my cleaning, even though I had been a patient for years and had an appointment for Moths ahead of my appointment. Was given a hygienist from Hell, never had so much pain during a cleaning, I will never go back after that awful treatment of disrespect. Victoria Tarker

I’m currently looking for a new dentist since my current provider is no longer in-network with my insurance. It doesn’t make much sense to continue paying both insurance premiums and out-of-pocket dental costs, so I started reviewing dental offices in the Traverse City area. During my search, I came across Deerhaven and was really impressed with what I saw. The office appears very welcoming and friendly, and I especially appreciated reading about the mission work they’ve been involved in. That says a lot about the values of a practice and the people who work there. Unfortunately, I was told that they are not accepting new patients at this time and that I would need to call back later in the summer. I was definitely disappointed to hear that, as they seemed like a great place to have your teeth cleaned and cared for. I’m hopeful I’ll be able to get in later in the year because they look like a wonderful dental office.

I am not a fan of the dentist, but the staff at Deerhaven makes it better. Dr Gutzka has an amazing bedside manor, and does a great job ensuring you are comfortable.

Always a great experience! I waited for about 3 minutes before I was called back. Friendly, gentle and experienced team! I highly recommend Deerhaven Dentistry if you can get an appointment.
