This was my first visit. It was Amazing!! I was welcomed as I walked in to the waiting room, everything was clean, and stylish. What a nice and comfortable atmosphere. Next, I was greeted by my hygienist. Sara was kind and friendly! There was also a student assisting and she was thoughtful and had great awareness. She was eager to learn and help Sara. Sara was patient and explained the process so the student was able to have a valuable training experience . The dentist Megan was so nice! She made me feel comfortable and was knowledgeable. She answered the questions I had and made my experience great! Thank you for making this a 5 star visit for me!!

I have been with Dental Essence for a few years now. They are fantastic! In multiple different visits I have had both Stephanie and Meaghan. I can’t give higher praise to both of them. They both are exceptional in their work they are fair and will not sell you on anything you don’t need. Also, they are both so kind and genuinely want to know you as a person even if you only stop in once or (ideally) twice a year. They both never fail to check-in and ask what’s new in life and genuinely celebrate the “wins” with you. Even if it’s only a 15min check up. The dental hygienists I’ve worked with over the years have been exceptional and have outstanding care. Big thank you to all the staff! It’s a dentist appointment I genuinely look forward to going too!

Highly recommend Dental Essence! Dr. Stephanie Schmitz and the entire team are fantastic, friendly, professional, and they truly care about their patients.
My whole family goes here, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff is always welcoming, and everything runs smoothly. I’ve also had implant work done here and couldn’t be happier with how it’s gone.
If you’re looking for a dental office you can trust, this is it.

My former dentist (whom we loved) stopped taking Delta Dental and it seemed silly to pay premiums and throw them away. I am so glad a friend recommended Dental Essence! I have had problems with my enamel all my life, but they’ve taken excellent care to keep an eye on it before it becomes a cavity/problem. They’re amazing at working around my kids and my school schedule (Teacher Mom) and when my son was challenging and needed caps for his back teeth, they gave a recommendation for another office that could meet our needs without hesitating or trying to force him into compliance. Highly recommend!

Wow what a delightful surprise. I switched dentists and chose DE per a recommendation from a friend. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I walked out. I knew I had made the right decision. My husband also had his first appointment and was impressed! I am actually looking forward to the next visit ☺️

Dr. Stephanie Schmitz, D.D.S., also earned her dental degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and spent nine years at Falls Community Health in Sioux Falls, most recently serving as Dental Director, before joining Dental Essence.
