I want to preface this review by saying that I never write reviews, especially bad ones. The last time I did, it was because of the waxer took off half of my eyebrow. The long story short, I would never go back there again and I would never recommend anybody to go there. Dr. Schacht has terrible bedside manner. I knew four days after having my tooth pulled something was wrong. I drove an hour and 10 minutes to his Brighton location because that was the only location open that day. He looked into my mouth about 30 seconds saw the sutures were still in there and did not even touch my mouth really. Sent me home after two minutes of my office. That weekend, I was in so much pain I cried. I sent him a text, in my text I said that this was not normal, and I was in so much pain. When he responded and called me, he questioned whether or not I’ve been following all the protocols. Yes, I probably read the paper eight times because I was making sure I had followed every single thing that they had recommended. And then he had the audacity to ask me my pain threshold/ tolerance, as if I was making this up and it was all in my head, I had been a tremendous pain for the whole weekend. I’ve been taking the maximum dose of Tylenol and Advil. Finally, the next Monday came back I did a procedure where it was exact same thing that is used to heal dry socket, but didn’t tell me doing anything like that. Really the final straw for writing this review was when he said to his assistant, did food come out when you did the oral wash, as if to ding me for having food in that location. With in moments of getting the treatment, I felt better. At my last appointment, he said that basically some people take longer to heal. I do not believe this, I believe I had dry socket. Instead of coming to my situation with care and concern, he questioned every step that I had taken. Instead of saying, let’s figure out what’s going on, it was, what have you done wrong. Maybe you don’t take pain well. It was so demeaning and uncaring. The worst part of the whole situation is I no longer trust the judgment of my dentist and I’m also leaving them because I do not trust their judgment to referring me to Denver Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Schacht and his team were truly exceptional. All three of my daughters had their wisdom teeth removed within the same week over Spring Break. While it may not have been their ideal way to spend the break, Dr. Schacht made the entire experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. He was incredibly professional, patient, and knowledgeable, taking the time to ensure my daughters and I felt fully informed and at ease. His pre- and post-operative care instructions were thorough and thoughtfully delivered, reflecting an exceptionally high standard of care. Just as impressive was his staff—friendly, attentive, and highly organized throughout the entire process. Thank you, Dr. Schacht, for taking such wonderful care of my girls. It is truly appreciated.

I recently had all four of my wisdom teeth removed and Dr Schacht and his team were great. They explained everything to me clearly and made me feel comfortable prior to the procedure despite my nerves. I am currently on day 2 and healing up nicely with minimal pain! I also appreciated Dr Schacht taking the time to message me the night after my surgery to check in! Great oral surgeon and team! Thank you for making an unpleasant experience a good one!

Dr Schacht and his staff were great in taking care of me. From greeting me, to help with paperwork, explaining the issues with my messy tooth needing extraction, to prepping me, gauging any pain, checking with me throughout the tooth removal, I knew I was in very good hands. Thank you Dr Schacht and your crew for keeping me at ease and taking care of business easily. Keep up the great work sir. With respect, Trini Lopez
