karina is a great dental hygienist! I come every 6 months no matter what because the quality is so great. she’s very caring and gentle with her cleanings. dentist is good too! I had a bad interaction with a different dentist but he is no longer at this practice.

Dr Shay is a rare gem. Why? Because he is honest and does not recommend dental work that you don't need. Plus, his kind and gentle nature demonstrates his desire to help people, rather than my last 2 dentists who clearly were "running a business". Miguel, my hygienist is also kind, thorough and knowledgeable. Dr Shay is so good at explaining things which helps his staff to be more proficient. The front desk is always friendly. I can not say enough good things about Desert Lakes Dental!!!

Came here for an tooth extraction and I did not feel no pain while the extraction was being done. The Dentist and staff were very good at what they do. They all work as a team. The dental facility is kept very clean. And also the prices are fair.

There are a lot of places that will submit additional codes to your insurance to maximize. This one appears to be one of them. My insurance covers 50% crowns and 80% fillings an when I did the math I was way over charged I asked why and she said some codes go together which is bs it’s extra stuff they add. Fills are covered 80% an I asked why I was being billed 90 more an didn’t get a response. I had to get partial services done cause I realized to late and didn’t want their cancellation fee. Beware and get quotes from diff places before committing. Lost $92 but they’ll never have my business again.

Dentist came recommended by friend. Very impressed over all. He is fast but careful and thorough. Never felt any pain or discomfort at all. Was in and out quick. Also had a deep clean by the hygienist and that also was just fine.
