Since they deleted my original review, I’ll make it again… I had an appointment to remove my upper left wisdom tooth, as was written on my intake form. When Dr Andy Mack came in for the consult he was irritated by the incorrect xray on the wall and I believe only half listened to my concerns. The extraction went smoothly until I changed the gauze the first time and realized I was missing a jaw tooth instead of the wisdom tooth that should have been pulled. I immediately called the office and spoke with the dr. He was very defensive and not at all remorseful or respectful. I was warned by previous patients that his temperament was abrasive but that he did good work. He literally laughed it off saying he could fix it and then offered to pull the wisdom tooth free of charge. Never once apologized or offered any remorse, only attempted to shift the blame to me. I now have a tooth missing that is visible when I smile and I talk with a lisp from not having a tooth for my tongue to touch. I will NEVER recommend him to anyone, EVER. The whole procedure seemed rushed and impersonal. Maybe if he had taken the time to read the intake form or actually listen to me instead of reprimanding the tech during my consult, this wouldn’t have happened. I am severely upset about this and feel I have no recourse other than this review. I hope it reaches the right person to make necessary changes so that no one else has to suffer through this like I am.

I was having severe tooth pain and called in the morning, and they were able to get me in quickly the same day. The staff took the time to explain everything and really helped calm my nerves since I was very anxious. Dr. Mack was amazing, professional, informative, and made the whole process much easier than I expected. I’m very grateful for how fast and caring everyone was. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Nathan Yang and the entire team at East Texas Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates! I called the same day to make my appointment for the removal of 3 broken teeth, and they were able to get me in without any issues — that alone was amazing. Dr. Yang was incredibly professional and thorough. Before administering the Deep IV Sedation, he checked with me multiple times to confirm that the procedure was for the 3 broken teeth, which really gave me confidence that I was in great hands. The whole staff also made sure to ask about my medication allergies several times throughout the process, which I truly appreciated. It showed just how much they prioritize patient safety. Everyone there was absolutely wonderful and made the entire experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. My only small note — and this is purely out of curiosity — is that I'd love to know what the first and second medications were that were administered through the IV. Just something I'd personally like to be informed about for my own peace of mind going forward. Overall, an outstanding experience. Highly recommend Dr. Yang and his team!

Had 3 teeth removed and going back to remove the rest for dentures. Dr. Mack was courteous, concise, and detailed in every aspect. I was nervous at first. Dr was patient and informative. Highly recommend.

I’ve had a lot of dental issues throughout my life. And with traveling it’s hard to get things done promptly. Thank you to Dr. Andy Mack and his wonderful staff for getting me in same day and making things happen! You guys are wonderful!! I had one extraction with sedation, couldn’t find my dental coverage, called my HR team in Alberta and the team at Andy Mack’s office had it figured out in 2 min. Thanks to everyone that made it happen!
