I cannot recommend Dr. Mia Knavish and her entire office enough. After struggling with dental pain for nearly a decade, I finally walked out pain free and literally cried tears of joy. That kind of relief is life changing.
Dr. Knavish is incredibly kind, gentle, patient, and truly talented at what she does. From the very first visit, I never felt judged or embarrassed, which meant so much to me after putting off dental work for years. Every single person in the office treated me with compassion and respect, and you can genuinely feel how much they care about their patients.
They were also affordable and flexible, which made the entire process so much less stressful. If you have anxiety about the dentist or have been avoiding treatment, this is the place to go. They gave me my smile, my confidence, and honestly a huge piece of my life back.

Dr Furman and his staff are professional caring, and dedicated to providing outstanding dental care to all dental clients! Kudos to Charity for always putting me a ease while cleaning my teeth and giving me helpful tips on what I can do to keep my teeth and gums healthy. Dr Furman has a gentle touch and always provides a thorough oral exam with an easy-to-understand explanation of my dental health. I actually like coming to this dental practice!
Thank you Furman Dental! You are absolutely the best!

I have been going to Furman Dental for three years now. The whole entire staff always has a great attitude and genuinely seem like they enjoy being there. Their front desk staff are very helpful, organized and professional, always greeting with a smile and warm welcome. Dr Furman is the type of dentist that actually cares and is interested in his patients as well as his employees home life and well being. Furman Dental will definitely be my go to place for many years! Highly recommend to people of all ages and walks of life.

If you’re looking for exceptional dentistry and dental care, you have found it!
Charity is the BEST DENTAL HYGIENIST EVER!!! She has a gentle touch and gets our teeth feeling so clean and smooth. She has been my families hygienist for over a decade now. We love her sweet, bubbly personality and look forward to our regular 6 mos cleanings. My son is currently wearing braces and Charity has inspired him to keep his teeth and braces clean through praise and encouragement.
Dr. Furman was so gentle when restoring a broken tooth colored filling. I didn’t even feel the numbing injection or feel any pain at all. His dental assistant Angelina is super sweet and kind too.
We highly recommend Furman dental for all your dental needs.

I’ve been going here for about 20 years now, and I truly can’t recommend them enough. I recently had a couple cavities filled, and Dr. Mia Knavish and her assistant Angelina were amazing. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time and made sure to be thorough in every step. They are a power team together as well as easy and fun to talk to which makes the experience so much better.
I used to see Dr. Merritt for years, and the level of care has remained just as excellent. Also have to shout out Charity, who does my routine cleanings. She’s so funny and such a ray of sunshine.
Definitely recommend Furman Dental!

About Furman Dental
Furman Dental is a general dental practice in Hendersonville, North Carolina that also provides dental implant treatment, including options for replacing one tooth, several teeth, or a full arch. The practice describes implants as a long term way to replace missing teeth, explaining that a post is placed in the jaw bone and later restored with a crown, bridge, or denture. According to the practice, a single tooth implant typically takes about four to ten months, while replacing all of the teeth can sometimes be done more quickly but may also take up to a year or longer to finish, with a temporary tooth replacement offered while healing occurs.
Before recommending implants, the practice meets with each patient individually to walk through the process, discuss options, and answer questions. The website notes the use of three-D x-ray technology to help plan implant placement and, in some cases, guides to help place implants in a preplanned location. The team also works with local specialists when additional expertise is needed. For patients missing one tooth or several, the practice offers a range of implant based solutions, from a single implant and crown to full denture or bridge options supported by multiple implant posts.
