As a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, her work allows her patients to enjoy a higher quality of life through improvements in both appearance and function. Dr. Bennett carefully develops treatment plans that work for each patient as an individual, whether addressing skeletal facial deformities, surgical defects, obstructive sleep apnea, or many other conditions. She received her D.D.S. from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class. She then began her residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Bennett operated on more than 300 jaws in residency, treating skeletal deformities and obstructive sleep apnea. Her residency included heavy rotations in trauma, cleft lip and palate, jaw surgery, and anesthesia. She went on to be recognized for surgical excellence as chief resident of Children's Hospital Oakland and was selected to join a team of specialists.
