I have pretty high standards for what I think makes up an ideal dentist and office due to my very first dentist. I've been shopping around using ChatGPT to find a dentist that meets my requirements. At first I couldn't go to Harmony Dental because I didn't have the right Medi-Cal, but after a disappointing appointment from a different dentist, I dropped my insurance so I could choose Harmony Dental. And it turned out to be a good choice. It was definitely a bit different from my experiences but overall Dr. Lopez, Joel, Lawrence, and Dominique made the visit very comfortable and enjoyable. I haven't had a good chat with a dental assistant in a long time and Dr. Lopez introduced himself to me with a handshake.
At previous dentist appointments, there were so many times where people would just tell me about cavities and would expect me to get them done without really discussing about it. I actually chose not to go through with fillings at the moment here at Harmony, and they did their due diligence with warning but they respected my decision. I also have a permanent retainer on my bottom jaw and the other dentist just said we need to remove it but didn't tell me why it was necessary. I do have a weird attachment to it and I didn't like the fact that it was just an expectation that it was in the way and it didn't need to be there anymore. But Harmony didn't mention it at all. I would have fought for it though unless there was a cavity under it.
Overall, the vibe is very homey. There wasn't a moment where I felt like I was just a number passing through. There are a lot of differences still from what I'm used to, but I would still recommend them

Top notch work and customer service!! Huge thanks to Joel, Dr. Nguyen, Bea, Stephanie and Lawrence!! I'm terribly afraid of the dentist but everyone here at Harmony was so knowledgeable and friendly I wish that I had come here for all of my previous dental work. Now I know where to keep coming back to for my future dental care. Thank you!

My first time coming to harmony Dental office from the moment I stepped inside everyone was very kind and helpful im terrified of going to the dentist but I had to try because it was very necessary for me to see the dentist

Dr. Wung was very kind and thorough about what I needed she made me feel comfortable she's an excellent dentist she shows compassion she would ask if I was ok she helped to make me feel calm.
Stephanie and Lawrence are amazing assistants they were so nice they both kept reassuring me that it was gonna be ok they would come to the room to see how I was doing or if I needed anything
I had a very good experience I highly recommend Harmony Dental office to you

So a huge thank you! To Dr Wung and her team.I had my crown put in today which b.t.w feels amazing,and I know your probably gonna get sick of me saying thank you! Dr Wung but I really appreciate you Lawrence today that helped with putting in the crown.You all there have an absolutely amazing vibe! And the work speaks for itself.Thank you all for your time.Dr Wung thank you for all the work you've performed on me.And for always being so patient and kind.

I鈥檝e been trying to find an office by home, for my routine visits & oral health care and I think I just did!
From beginning to end, the whole staff was great, the assistants Lorenzo & Stephanie both met beyond my expectations and Dr. Wong explained everything efficiently, I can be a little anxious but by the end of the appointment I was feeling just fine!
