I've had quite a bit of work done by Dr. Swenson over the past several months. My experience has been great. He explains everything thoroughly, and I can tell he's very good at what he does. Friends who have been to him have had a similar experience. I haven't had any lingering pain or sensitivity. He's funny and has an entertaining back and forth with his assistants, who are also great to interact with one on one. I'll be disappointed if I ever leave Havre and have to find a new dentist.

I've been going to Lars since 2016 and I've always had a pleasant experience. The hygienists are who I see every 6 months and they've been great. Dr. Swensen is very thorough, informative and never pushy of his treatments. He has done a crown, a few cavities and even a chipped tooth and I've never had problems with his work. He treats my children as well and even has referred us to a pediatric dentist when he though my children would have a more pleasant time. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Swensen takes care my entire family. He is always caring, compassionate, prompt, and really listens. Dr. Swensen addresses everything with honesty and integrity. He takes his patients dental care seriously and cares enough to ask how everyone is doing outside of the office. I would highly recommend Dr. Swensen and his staff.

Dr. Swensen has done multiple fillings, a crown, a spacer and is currently working on getting me a dental implant. All of his work has lasted over ten years, with no issues so far and I anticipate no issues in the future. Staff is friendly and professional, I would highly recommend

Dr. Swensen has been our dentist for many years. He has always been a kind, professional dentist. His staff are all pleasant and I have never had a bad experience.

Havre Dental Group is a small-town family dental practice on Montana's Hi-Line, located at 424 3rd Street in Havre. The practice describes itself as one where patients are known by name rather than chart number, with honest conversations about what your teeth actually need and compassionate care whether it is your first visit or your fiftieth. For patients considering tooth replacement, the office lists dental implants and bone grafting among its services, alongside complete and partial dentures, extractions, crowns, fillings, root canals, cleanings, whitening, and silver diamine fluoride treatments.
The practice is now led by Dr. Tyler Kurle, who was personally selected by longtime Havre dentists Dr. Gerald Olson and Dr. Lars Swensen to carry the practice forward as they look toward the next stage of their careers. Both Dr. Olson and Dr. Swensen are staying on as associates, so familiar faces remain in the office. Dr. Kurle has said he is excited to bring new technology and modern procedures to the practice. For patients who feel anxious about dental visits, the office offers nitrous oxide and anxiety-relieving oral medications. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and Friday from 8 am to noon.
