Read the lower reviews because they are true. This office is good for basic general dentistry only. Front desk is satisfactory. Hygienists are top-notch. If you need advanced services I do not recommend this dentist. I had a crown from a different dentist fall off. I thought that fix would be easy enough but Dr. B's recommendations did not sit right with me. I decided I was more comfortable going to the U of M School of Dentistry for my advanced care. Dr. B. was beside himself that I asked for my loose crown back. He made a scene behind the front desk in front of his staff that was absolutely unnecessary. When I returned to the office for a routine cleaning, after having my crown fixed for $79 at U of M, he proceeded to berate me over the reattachment of the crown to the point that I had to stop him to tell him he was making me uncomfortable. I think the man has roid rage because he said, very loudly to me in the chair, "I am your dentist!" He went on to say that if I couldn't talk to him about my teeth that I should go somewhere else. I very calmly said, "OK." Then Dr. B slammed his utensils down and pushed his chair away. My hygienist was startled. I asked him if he was going to look at the rest of my teeth? He did a flimsy inspection. Then, remarkably, he calmed down and gave me some diagnostic explanations. We said our goodbyes. I told the front desk I wasn’t scheduling another appointment because we agreed I wasn't coming back. They told me to reach out for my records when I found another dentist. One last point, my significant other was planning to become a new patient at this practice because of the proximity to his job. After me telling him about my seperate appointments (my loose crown diagnosis, retrieving my crown to take to U of M & my cleaning) he decided he would go elsewhere too. I've given a lot of reviews, over the years, but I don't recall ever giving 2 stars. You can make your own decision. Best of luck.

I had an amazing experience at Laurel Dental with Jeff! He took the time to thoroughly go over my entire treatment plan, explaining everything clearly and making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their understanding of their dental health. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was top-notch. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! Highly recommend Jeff and the team at Laurel Dental to anyone looking for a dentist who truly goes above and beyond.

Needed to have a bottom left tooth, which was very loose and infected, extracted prior to having shoulder surgery, Laurel Dental fit me in that day and again the next day for something else needed for clearance for my shoulder. To me, this goes above and beyond the normal level of customer service and I want to thank the entire staff for helping me with my situation and for always being kind.

I’ve been to several dentists over the course of my life and Laurel Dental is by far THE best!!! Everyone is friendly and they do an amazing job. Today I had the first phase of crown work done and felt zero pain!! I told Dr. Bartoshesky and his staff that if he had been my dentist my entire life, I would not “hate” going to the dentist. If you’re looking for a dentist that truly cares with an excellent staff, this is where you need to go.

About Laurel Dental- Jeffrey Bartoshesky, D.M.D.

Laurel Dental, led by Dr. Jeffrey Bartoshesky, is a family-oriented dental practice in Laurel, Delaware. Among the tooth-replacement options the practice offers is the dental implant, which replaces a missing tooth by surgically placing a replacement root and topping it with a dental crown. The practice also offers other ways to replace missing teeth, including fixed bridges, dentures, and partial dentures, so patients can discuss which option fits their needs and smile goals.

During a comprehensive dental exam, the team evaluates the health of each tooth and the surrounding gums before recommending a tooth-replacement option, including whether a dental implant makes sense for a patient's situation. The practice describes its approach as taking time to understand each patient's concerns and goals, explaining all options clearly, and never pressuring anyone into treatment. Patients considering an implant can expect the team to walk them through the process and how it fits alongside the practice's other general and family dentistry services.
