Mahmoud Serag, is the BEST 👌 dentist in town I didn't feel anything when he numbed me and extracted 8 teeth and did surgery with alveo for my dentures to fit perfectly 😀 he was so nice and had pecfect chairside 💺 manners. I would highly recommend him 😀 to anyone in with tooth pain in need of the Best 👌 dentist I have ever seen. 😬 sincerely, Ralph Flack

I had a really good experience with Local Start Dental.The intake was smooth and the team very professional. The pricing was a bit of a shock, but comparatively less on a sliding scale they were generous and fair. Dr. Muhamoud Serag was reassuring and gentle. I was very scared!!! I did not feel a thing!!! So far so good and I am currently in the healing stages and they have answered all my concerns. I had an emergency appointment for them to check my healing… not scheduled…. I had a fever… no charge no nickel a dining!. They just made sure I was healing. I would hands down recommend their services!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share this. I recently overheard a patient being upset about being referred to another clinic. While it can be inconvenient, I appreciate that this office prioritizes patient safety above all. They’ve always taken great care of me. If a doctor isn’t comfortable treating a case, there’s usually a valid reason—they understand the risks and want the best outcome. As patients, it’s important to trust professionals and do what’s best for our health, even if it takes a little extra effort. I recently had an outstanding experience at this dental office. Dr. Patel and her tech were incredibly knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything before starting the procedure. I truly appreciated how gentle and attentive they were, consistently checking in to ensure I was comfortable. The level of care and attention to detail really stood out. The office itself is clean and well-organized. Scheduling was seamless, and I was seen right on time. If you're looking for a dentist who genuinely cares about their patients and provides top-notch care, I highly recommend this practice. I’m happy I found them.

I’m beyond disappointed by my experience here, especially because this place presents itself as serving the community. I feel like I need to share my experience as a warning. At my visit, I was told I needed a deep cleaning and a regular cleaning, had four cavities, and needed a night guard - totaling around $1,200. When I tried to ask for more information, Dr. Patel was dismissive and curt. This didn’t sit right with me, both because of how aggressively it was presented and because I am very consistent with my dental care. I decided to get a second opinion and also had my X-rays reviewed by a third dentist. Both confirmed that I did not need a deep cleaning and that there were no cavities requiring treatment at this time. All I needed was a standard cleaning. Being told I needed nearly $1,200 worth of work, only to have multiple other dentists confirm it wasn’t necessary, is deeply unethical. I wasn’t initially planning to leave a negative review, but after receiving a call from Local Start just now asking when I would begin their treatment plan, it reinforced my concerns - this place is financially driven rather than patient-focused. I would strongly encourage anyone to get a second opinion before agreeing to dental work here. I had a much better experience at Campus Walk Dental, where I felt listened to and their approach was much more ethical and transparent. Also, their pricing is nearly identical. In the end, I saved over $1,000 by not moving forward with Local Start's unnecessary treatment plan.

Love the staff, Amaris was great, very helpful and Dr. Serag was great as always! All of the staff has been very nice and welcoming at every visit I've had! Glad to have chosen this place! Just got my new dentures and they look amazing, still adjusting of course..but they look better than I could have imagined! EDIT: just wanted to add that Nathalia , their treatment coordinator, has been very helpful from day 1. She helped create the initial treatment plan and was able to answer all questions I had and she also helped me at my last visit with applying for CareCredit. She's very sweet and very informative!
