Dr. Whalen has been my dentist since I was a little girl. I love going to his office, everyone is friendly and welcoming. I love his more old fashioned approach especially with kids. No knocking them out, he talks with them, shows them birds outside the windows (no tv) and really explains things.
Both my kids have never had a fear of dental work and I know that's because of Dr. Whalen. I also now have kids who love watching birds.
The staff is always helpful and kind as well.
I just went in for a bite guard replacement and it was like visiting friends not a dreaded dental visit. They make things comfortable enough that my anxiety rarely spikes and I leave able to drive myself home.

I am 65 yrs old and moved 8 years ago to this small rural town in Hailey, Idaho. I had a lifetime of good dentist but I consider myself so fortunate to have found Luke Whalen DDS here in Hailey when I first moved here. I could not ask for a better dentist nor staff. He is amongst the best, most professional, courteous and most thoughtful I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He offices are immaculate, his tools are the best in the industry and his hand picked staff are always willing to accomodate my needs. Doc Whalen will always tell you the straight scoop and your chances if there is a risk involved. I really appreciate he and his staff and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Best experience with having crown work done. I detest going to the dentist but Dr. Whalen is a pro. I would highly recommend him for any and all dental work.
