Lynchburg Dental was excellent from start to finish. I was greeted warmly by every person I encountered, and my hygienist was professional, gentle, and kind. Dr. Crawford is knowledgeable and has a great chair side manner.
I am a new patient, having switched from another practice where I could not even get cleanings scheduled every six months, and never saw the same dentist or hygienist when I could get in.
Dr. Crawford and his staff clearly operate a practice that functions well and on time. I was in the chair less than five minutes after walking through the door. I’m grateful to have found a dentist my family and I will be able to trust for years to come.

I'm always treated very well. My dental hygienist Jessica is the best. She always makes sure I am comfortable and let's me know exactly what's going on. The staff here is very professional, also warm and welcoming. I never fear my dental appointments. This place is great and has great people working there.

I’m very disappointed with our experience today. My son cried saying the cleaning was hurting and while he was crying, the hygienist told him, “Stop crying. You gotta stop now,” multiple times in a tone that I felt was unnecessarily rude and insensitive.
I completely understand that dental cleanings with children can be challenging, but a nervous child needs patience, reassurance, and compassion—not to be made to feel worse for being afraid and communicating.
I reported what happened to the office, and unfortunately, no one has reached out to me to discuss the situation or offer an apology. That lack of follow-up has been just as disappointing.
I hope the office takes this feedback seriously. Children deserve to feel safe and respected when they are receiving care.

On my latest visit the staff were all very friendly and courteous. I was there for a tooth extraction. It went smoothly. Dr. Brad Lentz is an excellent dentist and has a very pleasant personality and chairside manner. He carefully explained all of my options concerning the affected tooth and did not try to coerce me to any one option. I chose extraction and he carefully explained what he was doing during each step of the procedure. His dental assistant Ellen was very friendly and helpful. She got right to work. She was very proficient. And the office is very attractive and clean. The only criticism I would have is I had a fairly long wait in the waiting room. But that is only because they were extremely busy.
