My step son is having his wisdom teeth removed today and the entire procedure is covered by insurance except the anesthesia which is a 250$ payment. My step son and his mother drove an hour for his procedure today and his mother had 150$ and she asked me for the rest. I told her i couldn’t send it til the banks opened at 8 and of course his appointment was at 8 and instead of being understanding to their predicament and accepting 150$ and taking my son to prep him for the surgery knowing with in minutes I was sending his mother the 100$ difference they told her he would have to be rescheduled and payment in full. So here is a doctors office living well in the upper middle class lifestyle and no doubt had zero interest or empathy with my son and his mother’s situation. That to me says a lot about the character of an office. Other than ignorance there’s no reason why they couldn’t have started this procedure which was the extraction of 4 wisdom teeth. Insurance was paying the entire procedure out of pocket was the anesthesia. Of which she had 150 of the 250. Now luckily I was able to send the difference with out everything falling apart but this office is just example of why this country is so screwed up. This office didn’t even attempt to want to show any type of empathy but that doesn’t mean the procedure won’t go well. And maybe the procedure gets 5 stars. Then I can raise my average to 3 stars and leave it in managements hands to deal with the weak link in their system

Dr. Hoffrichter is quick, efficient and skilled, getting the surgery done quickly but expertly and out the door as soon as possible. His assistant Steve is courteous, kind, patient, and makes sure you are taken care of and well informed before leaving. Jessica at the front desk is so friendly and sweet and a pleasure to work with. This is the second child I have brought to MOSA in Frederick and will bring my 3rd when he needs surgery as well.

Dr. Hoffrichter and the entire MOSA Frederick staff were exceptionally kind and caring. They provided estimates and coordinated everything with my insurance so there were no unexpected charges. Oral surgery is not fun, but I felt very informed every step of the way and very safe in the hands of this team. Jessica and the front desk staff are helpful and always so pleasant. I highly recommend MOSA’s Frederick office.

I was a little apprehensive as it has been a few years since I had a tooth extraction. I chose a local anesthetic and was hoping that option was best for me. It was. I felt no pain whatsoever and the procedure was over in a flash. Highly recommend MOSA. Their staff was great. I especially want to thank and greatly recommend Dr. Hoffrichter for actually making my experience enjoyable.

I had all four of my wisdom tooth taken out. You can imagine how I felt walking in before the procedure. But rest assured that when I started talking to the lady at the front desk she was very professional, kind, jovial and supportive. I felt supported by all the staff members who talked with me right from the front desk till me leaving after the procedure. Thank you to all the staff at MOSA Frederick!!
