The experience was excellent!
I arrived ahead of my scheduled appointment and was greeted and brought back to the surgery room.
The nurse or technition confirmed my procedure and prepared me for my surgery.
Dr. Kamelchuck arrived soon after the technition and briefed me regarding my surgery. He administered a pre surgery injection and the next thing I knew was his technition helping me up to the recovery area.
At 80 years of age one would not expect the need for a wisdom tooth extraction but so be it.
I have nothing but praise for Dr Kamelchuck and his staff!
I would definitely recommend Maxillofacial Surgery Center of Huntsville to my friends and family when in need of oral surgery!

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Kamelchuk 6 weeks ago, and he did an amazing job. He made me feel very comfortable before I was put to sleep and after I woke up. He was kind and professional throughout the entire process. Everything went smoothly, and I had absolutely no complications. Everything healed well. Because of Dr. Kamelchuk, the experience of getting my wisdom teeth removed wasn鈥檛 nearly as bad as I expected. I highly recommend him for dental care.

This was my second visit to have another extraction and an implant. The first visit was amazing, I had two extractions and bone graft which went very well and healed quickly. He explains everything and I feel confident with Him.

I highly recommend Maxillofacial Surgery Center of Huntsville! Dr Kamelchuk is a great surgeon and his staff are the best. They took great care of me. There was ZERO pain. The results were a blessing. And perhaps best of all, they worked diligently with my insurance to make sure everything was pre-approved, covered to the maximum, and there were no hidden charges.
I can tell you from experience that sloppy insurance work, apathetic attitudes and hidden charges can happen in this particular industry. A couple of years ago, another place cost me over $1000.00 more out of pocket for the exact same services with the exact same insurance! I knew better, but simply couldn't make them understand. "That's just how it is", they said.馃槚 I remembered it when faced with the same dental situation, and decided to give Dr. Kamelchuk and staff a try. Thankfully they were very conscientious and did their jobs well, and there were no problems this time around.

I was referred to Dr Kamelchuk for a molar extraction due to root fracture. Scheduled within 1 week. In and out in less than an hour with very little to no pain. Had Rx but only took Tylenol for the first couple of days. Very pleased with Dr Kamelchuk and Office staff.

Maxillofacial Surgery Center of Huntsville is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located at 1107 Gleneagles Drive Southwest in Huntsville, Alabama. The practice was established in 1997 by Dr. Lee Kamelchuk, and its stated philosophy is to provide patients with the best surgical care possible in a modern facility with an atmosphere of kindness and courtesy. Dental implants are a core focus. Meet the Doctors
Maxillofacial Surgery Center of Huntsville is led by Dr. Lee Kamelchuk, DDS, MD, who founded the practice in 1997 and practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Kamelchuk grew up in Alberta, Canada, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1986 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1990 from the University of Alberta. He completed a hospital dentistry general practice residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1991, then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UAB in 1997. Dr. Kamelchuk is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is an active staff member at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville.
