I love this dentist. The staff are friendly and honest. The office is clean and state of the art. The hygienists are amazing and they love their jobs. They inform, educate, and recommend. They never push me to do things I don't want.
Fern is my hygienist. She's a wonderful person and a joy to see. After a series of horrible experiences in my youth, I didn't trust dentists. I credit Fern with restoring my trust in the dentistry profession. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now.
I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Fern and Midtown Dental.

I asked around for years and kept getting referred to Midtown Dental. I finally decided to give it a try because I was tired of the discolored repairs of my 2 front teeth from constant grinding. I heard Dr Apekian was a perfectionist, and an artist at heart. That was clear the moment you step into the practice -you see the beautiful artistry from the art work, to the space, and with all the latest technology. The staff is always welcoming and the work is top notch. I love my smile again and for years to come. Thank you to Dr Apekian and her lovely team!

Long-time patient. Not recommended. I will provide a detailed summary of my experience after pending matters are resolved. My concerns include treatment documentation, communications and handling of concerns.

Getting my teeth cleaned is actually a pleasure and seeing their advancements in technologies and procedures they have employed since the last appointment is really interesting.

About Midtown Dental
Midtown Dental is a general and cosmetic dentistry practice located at 2831 G Street in the heart of Midtown Sacramento, offering dental implant solutions including All-on-4 and full-arch treatment alongside CEREC same-day crowns, Invisalign, veneers, teeth whitening, and night and sports guards. The practice serves patients throughout the Midtown, East Sacramento, and greater Sacramento area, and maintains its own in-house dental lab, which allows the team to design and fabricate crowns and veneers on site rather than sending cases out to an external lab.
For patients missing one or more teeth, or considering a full-mouth restoration, the practice's implant options range from single-tooth replacement to full-arch and All-on-4 style treatment, which anchors a complete set of replacement teeth on a small number of implants. The office emphasizes an open, judgment-free environment where patients can discuss their oral health needs comfortably, and pairs that approach with current digital dental technology. Anyone weighing dental implants can use a consultation at Midtown Dental to review imaging, discuss which implant approach fits their bone structure and goals, and get a clear timeline and cost estimate before starting treatment.
Meet the Doctors
Midtown Dental's clinical team includes several dentists who practice at the 2831 G Street location, including Dr. Sarah Mathai, DDS, a Sacramento native who earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific, Dr. Jenny Apekian, DDS, and Dr. Gina Crippen, who has practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in the Sacramento area for over 15 years after studying biology at California State University, Sacramento. Patients seeking implant treatment should confirm at booking which doctor is handling implant placement, since the office has multiple dentists on staff.
