I had a tooth extraction with a bone graft performed by Dr. Mahdi, with assistance from Kalia, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. I explained to Dr. Mahdi that I had a very bad experience with a previous extraction, and he took the time to reassure me, explain the procedure thoroughly beforehand, and make sure I was completely comfortable. He made certain I was fully numbed so that I would not feel pain, only slight pressure, exactly as he described. Kalia was also incredibly kind and reassuring, letting me know that Dr. Mahdi is amazing at what he does and very gentle, which immediately put me at ease. My appointment was efficient as well. I arrived at 11:00 AM and was done by 11:52 AM. The procedure was smooth, painless, and the aftercare instructions were explained clearly. In my 39 years of living, this was by far the best tooth extraction experience I have ever had.

I debated writing this review, but based on my personal experience, I feel others should be aware. When this office was still Marchetti’s, we never had issues. Since then, the quality of care and service has significantly declined. My husband once called because he was in severe pain and was told by the receptionist that they couldn’t help him and that he needed to find another dentist, which was very concerning. The only receptionist who has been consistently kind and helpful is Kenia. I also had ongoing issues with a crown that was placed. After about 3 years it fell off, and after that it kept coming loose. I had to return three separate times for the same issue. Each appointment involved wait times of around 2 hours. The most concerning experience happened in January of this year during my implant appointment. I was scheduled at 9:00 AM but was told I had to wait until 11:00 AM because the lab person wasn’t there. That same lab person later performed the crown placement and stated he had the proper credentials. During the procedure, I was not given anesthesia. I questioned it because I was clearly in pain, but I was told they “don’t usually numb for this procedure.” The pain was extremely intense. The process involved repeated tightening and stopping due to my reactions, and I was crying from the pain. Afterward, I was told I should not feel pain and did not need medication, but I ended up needing over-the-counter pain relief. I experienced significant swelling, inflamed gums, and severe pain that affected my ability to eat, sleep, and function normally. I had to sleep sitting up because lying down made the pain worse. I went to urgent care over the weekend, where I was told the swelling was severe and was given stronger medication. I was in pain for nearly a full week. I later sought a second opinion and was told that anesthesia is typically used, especially when a patient is experiencing pain. When I returned and shared photos of the swelling, I did not feel my concerns were fully addressed and felt brushed off. When I left there I stood in parking lot and just started crying because of everything I had gone through. This is my personal experience, but it was extremely difficult, and I would not want others to go through the same situation.

Staff is all very polite and professional. The only down side to this place is their wait times. Three consecutive times we’ve had appts. at 9am (opening time) and have had to wait in the waiting room for over an hour. The last time we waited about an hour and a half just to be told that my daughter’s crown didn’t come in and they just needed to retake impressions. Waiting that long for a process that took 10-15min. max! Unfortunately today, the same thing happened our appt. was at 9am. and we walked into a chair at 10:02. It’s honestly just the transparency for me, next time please give me a heads up as to the wait times, just be honest. You would think that if we made the first appt. or so, of the day that the wait times would be no more than 30min. We also have many things and families to attend to and accommodate and change our schedules for these things too, but if we make the time to be on time to our scheduled appointments, I expect the same in return. Other than that they did a great job with her root canal that many other dentist didn’t want to do, and for that I am very grateful.

10/10 — Highly recommend! The entire team—Kenia, Gabby, Monse, and Alicia—was amazing. I’ve always had really bad anxiety about dental work, but this office completely changed that for me. Dr. Amr was incredibly gentle, caring, and made the whole experience pain-free. Thanks to this team, I’m no longer afraid of going to the dentist. Thank you all so much for your outstanding care.

Thank you to Gabriela for helping me get scheduled for urgent care with my teeth. They were so kind and fast. They made my wisdom teeth removal the best experience ever, no pain no wait just in and out!
