We had such a great experience with Northern Vermont Oral Surgery, especially for something that could have felt really stressful. Scheduling was easy and convenient, and everyone was helpful, calm, and reassuring throughout the entire process. The initial consultation clearly explained why the procedure was needed, what to expect, and how to prepare.
I loved that they asked my son to choose his favorite artist and had that music playing during his surgery. I had never heard of an office doing that before, and it was such a thoughtful touch. I was also incredibly impressed that the doctor personally called later that day to check on how he was doing.
We felt supported from beginning to end, the cost was reasonable, and the whole experience was truly easy peasy. I would highly recommend them!

They really have the best staff! Both my daughter and myself recognized how amazing their “bed side manner” is! The Doctor as well - very down to earth and great with people! We moved locally last year and both found it to be a nice change compared to the personalities at the practice we were used to. 10 out of 10 highly recommended.

Everyone I interacted with in this practice, from front desk check-in to back desk check-out, was professional, upbeat, and skilled at their job. The doctors and dental assistant working with me could not have been more responsive to evolving needs as the consultation progressed. Great office!

Dr. Berglund is incredibly personable, skilled and knowledgeable. I originally got a consult elsewhere per a referral. It was fast paced, only one of my issues was addressed and I was pressured to schedule surgery right away. I went with my gut and decided to get another opinion. After some research I landed on Norther Vermont Oral Surgery. From the initial consult with Dr. Berglund I knew I was in caring and skilled hands. He took time to answer all my questions and explain everything fully. He took care of my tooth extraction as painlessly as possible and went further to biopsy an abnormality on my mandible to get a full understanding of what was going on in my mouth. This extra step really helped me to understand my very rare pathology and know what plan of action moving forward best suited my unique situation. I couldn't be more thankful for the excellent care I received here!

The professionalism of Dr. Purdy and his staff goes above and beyond! They took exceptional care of my son, and did a fantastic job easing his mind with the extraction. They were able to keep things lighthearted, and an after hours follow up check in by phone was comforting. Thank you!
