It’s been about a month or so since I have visited this office, but I wanted to give them five stars, I’m from the capital district and the VA sent me here for an extraction, from start to finish the front end staff to the dentist and extraction was a great experience, it felt like they warmly welcomed you making the experience as calming as possible. If I lived closer I would definitely see if they took new regular patients.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! No empathy whatsoever for a child with anxiety about needles. They wouldn't let me, the mother, back there to reassure my child it would be ok. When I told them she needed a minute to calm down, their response was "she needs to come back so we can put the IV in". There was another patient crying loudly in another room which didn't help. It felt like a prison! My daughter had a bad feeling about the place during the consultation as the whole office was dirty and dusty. Always listen to your gut. These people were so rude. From the front desk to the dental assistants. DO NOT GO HERE!

I live an hour away in the capital district of NY, but was referred here by the Albany Stratton VA. It was an hour trip, but thankfully there was little traffic on RT 7 so it was a smooth trip there and back. I have had much dental work done including extraction of wisdom teeth, root canal, crowns, etc. I have a high pain tolerance but the doctor has an amazing technique so don't get worried about it being painful. II was there a little early, but was called in less than ten minutes after filling out my paperwork. I had to have a tooth removed after a crown broke on my molar. It was like being back in the Army (which is great). I went from step to step with little to no waiting and was out in no time. I couldn't believe how quick the appointment was which enabled me to miss the afternoon traffic in Troy on the bridge before the 787 exit. I hope I don't have to similar work done again. However, If I do, I hope I get this place again! Thanks again to everyone working there!

Had an extraction done. The staff was amazing. Dentists stress me out, but this place was great. No bruising, minimal soreness. 10/10 no notes.

I recently got my wisdom teeth extracted here, and had a relatively seamless experience. As other reviewers have pointed out, you do have to pay for your procedures up front, and they do not work with insurance. However, after my visits, they filed claims to my insurance and I was reimbursed. I'm pretty young and not well versed in how all this works, but I did look around at other places before deciding to go with this one and all of them worked the exact same way. You pay full price up front, and deal with the claim later. Dr. Bevin was, contrary to other reviews, very professional throughout my two visits (consultation, surgery). They answered all of my questions regarding the procedure, payment, and consultation about local or general anesthesia. I had no problems with the front desk either. While the way insurance works in this country continues to be a pain point, I really don't see why other reviewers claim that this place is worse than anywhere else. The care I received was top quality, and I am happy with my decision to get my teeth extracted here.
