I cannot recommend Oral Surgeons of Santa Rosa enough. The entire office is very knowledgeable and empathetic. In my experience, they give highly skilled, trauma-informed care and emphasize patient comfort. I would highly recommend individuals with chronic health conditions (POTS, etc.) or previous negative Dental experiences (PTSD, etc) to utilize their services. My surgical experience and healing was far better than anything I anticipated (I am not typically a fast healer). They were communicative (Dr. McMahon called the next day to check how healing was going!) and I had no complications (despite the other dentists/surgeons I had spoken to at other offices being very vocal that my case was "highly likely to have nerve damage and other complications.") It was quick and comfortable day of (they even used numbing spray for the IV, which I thought was truly next level patient comfort care), I had minimal to no pain during healing (while following their instructions), and felt very listened to regarding any concerns along the way. Everyone I interacted with at the office had the same high level of knowledge, professionalism, and kindness. They also have someone working at the front desk who can speak Spanish (Se habla español).
If there was higher than 5 stars I would give it!

Very advanced dental procedures—extraction-implant-bone graft in a single visit. Super professional staff. Delicious Noble Folk Ice Cream to help with healing!

This is the best oral surgery office. They were absolutely amazing. Dr. McMahon was such an amazing oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth. Also the front desk and dental assistants were wonderful the whole time. I felt comfortable and they all made it so easy. I’m so thankful for this office and I will be recommending everyone to them.

By far, one of the best experiences I have had with an oral surgeon. Dr. McMahon and his team are professional but approachable and kind. Knowledgeable and informative while being empathetic and mindful. They listen intently, answer all your questions and do so with a warm smile. Highly recommend them, someday my 5 year old son will need some wisdom teeth out and I’m hoping this family owned practice is still here for him!

I am blown away with the outstanding treatment I received at Oral Surgeons of Santa Rosa. When I learned I had to have a molar extraction and implant, I panicked. I heard horror stories from friends who had these procedures done and it took almost 6 months or more to finally get a crown 😱. I was not happy about having a gaping hole in my jaw for any amount of time! I called my friend, a Dental Assistant, and she recommended Dr. McMahon, saying “he’s the best in the world”! She was right! He performed my extraction and placed the post 2 days after my initial consultation. My medications were ordered and ready for pickup the day before my surgery. The procedure was over in 45 minutes and I had no complications. That evening Dr. McMahon called to check on me. If all goes well, my dentist will install my new crown and complete this process in just under a month! How cool is that? I highly recommend Dr. Mahon and this practice to anyone needing oral surgery. They have state-of-art equipment, techniques, expertise AND Noble Ice Cream which is so advantageous to patients and their overall well being. This practice ROCKS!

Oral Surgeons of Santa Rosa is a family-owned oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located at 10 Doctors Park Drive in Santa Rosa, California. Meet the Doctors
The surgical team at Oral Surgeons of Santa Rosa includes Dr. Alexander J. McMahon, DDS, MD, Dr. Frances U. Yoshikane, DDS, MD, and Dr. Matthew J. Stephens, DDS, MD. All three are board-certified surgeons of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. McMahon, raised in Sonoma, completed his dental training and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UCLA and earned his medical degree there; he specializes in full-mouth reconstruction and zygomatic implant placement. Dr. Yoshikane earned her dental degree at UCLA and completed her medical degree and surgical residency at NYU in Manhattan; she specializes in immediate implant placement and full-mouth reconstruction. Dr. Stephens trained at the UCLA School of Dentistry, completed his surgical residency at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City and received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine; he specializes in immediate implant placement and wisdom teeth extraction. Anesthesia care is provided by Dr. Andrew A. Maynard, MD, a board-certified anesthesiologist recognized by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
