Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center of the Ozarks, also known as Horan, Becker & Darling, is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located on South Fremont Avenue in Springfield, Missouri. The team places dental implants, including full arch and All on 4 style solutions for patients missing some or all of their teeth, and also handles tooth extractions, wisdom tooth removal, bone rebuilding procedures, and corrective jaw surgery. Because oral and maxillofacial surgeons complete extra years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training beyond dental school, the practice is able to provide implant placement and in office anesthesia for patients who need more complex treatment.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Julie Becker is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with more than 28 years of experience. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia, attended the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry, and completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Baylor College of Dentistry and Baylor Hospital in Dallas. A Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Becker maintains memberships in numerous local, state, and national dental and surgical organizations. A Springfield native, she is also actively involved in local civic, cultural, and religious organizations.
