Dr. Fred J. Kim, DDS, FAAID, is the dentist at Pacific Smiles Dental Implant Center. He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2003 and returned to the South Bay area, where he grew up, to care for patients in private practice. Dr. Kim has completed more than 1000 hours of additional training in comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry, including advanced smile design and adult cosmetic braces, along with extensive training in placing and restoring dental implants. He is one of only about 400 dentists board certified in implant dentistry and holds the Diplomate designation from the American Board of Oral Implantology and Implant Dentistry, which represents the highest level of skill in implant dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
