My daughter and I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Heller during her consultation. Dr. Heller took the time to thoroughly explain her treatment plan, answer all of our questions, and ensure we felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. He was patient, professional, and genuinely caring, which helped ease any concerns we had.
The entire office staff was welcoming and friendly, making the experience even better. We left feeling confident in the treatment plan and appreciative of the exceptional care and attention we received. I highly recommend Dr. Heller and his team to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate periodontist

Dental Tech Michelle did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. My gums are receding significantly but she was very careful not to pick down into the nerves! It was one of the best cleanings I've ever had! She's very thorough and found a small problem, for which she brought Dr Heller in to consult, and we developed a plan of action. I hope she continues to work there for a long time!

Dr. Beckman is an exceptional oral surgeon who delivers both outstanding technical results and a truly reassuring patient experience. From the initial consultation through the completion of my dental implants, every step was handled with precision, clarity, and care. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, set clear expectations, and ensure I was comfortable throughout the process.
The quality of his work is excellent—my implants feel completely natural, and the outcome exceeded my expectations. His team is equally professional, organized, and attentive, which made the entire experience seamless.
If you are looking for an oral surgeon who combines expertise, professionalism, and genuine patient care, Dr. Beckman stands out. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

I have always had the best experience at Periodontal Associates when in need for extensive gum procedures. Honestly, the discomfort is minimal and my healing has been remarkably quick, given the work done. Dr. Heller is patient and terrific at what he does. The staff is more than helpful and very pleasant to speak with. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Dr. Beckman and his team at Periodontal Associates Aurora are truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in, the office is welcoming, efficient, and professional. Dr. Beckman takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, making you feel informed and completely at ease—something that’s rare and incredibly appreciated, especially for periodontal care.
His expertise is evident, but what really stands out is his calm, thoughtful approach and genuine care for his patients. The entire team is kind, attentive, and organized, making the experience seamless from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a periodontist who is highly skilled, trustworthy, and patient-centered, I can’t recommend Dr. Beckman enough. An outstanding experience all around.

About Periodontal Associates
Periodontal Associates in Aurora, Colorado is the original home of a periodontal practice that has served patients across Colorado since 1974. The office is located in The Aspens Dental Park at 2900 South Peoria Street, Building D, near East Cornell Avenue and just minutes from I-225, with free on-site parking in front of the building and a wheelchair accessible, ground-level entry. The Aurora office expanded in 2020 to accommodate more patients and updated technology, and the practice also operates a second office in Centennial.
For patients considering dental implants, the Aurora office provides single, multiple, and full arch implant placement, treatment for peri-implantitis (infection around an existing implant), and the preparatory procedures that often go with implants, including dental bone grafting, sinus lift, ridge augmentation, and socket preservation. The practice also offers periodontal exams, periodontal therapy, scaling and root planing, laser periodontal therapy, gum grafting for recession, crown lengthening, gingivectomy, gummy smile treatment, and surgically facilitated orthodontic therapy. Sedation options include IV, oral, and nitrous oxide sedation provided by certified anesthesia professionals. The office is open Monday mornings, Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Aurora office is served by Dr. Douglas A. Heller, DMD, and Dr. Eric M.
