Piedmont Oral Surgery is exactly what a well-run practice should look like. Earlier this week, I visited my regular general dentist because I was dealing with a painful, throbbing wisdom tooth that needed to be removed. Unfortunately, I arrived for my appointment only to learn that one oral surgeon had retired and the other was on vacation for several weeks. The earliest option I was given was to wait until his return, and no effort was made to help me find more immediate care. After calling Piedmont Oral Surgery, my experience was completely different. Their staff got me in for a same-day consultation, and my wisdom tooth was extracted the very next day. From my first phone call through the procedure itself, everyone was professional, compassionate, and genuinely focused on helping me get relief as quickly as possible. Dr. Gollehon was outstanding. He took the time to explain everything clearly, made me feel comfortable throughout the process, and provided excellent care. The entire team was friendly, efficient, and attentive. If you're looking for an oral surgery practice that prioritizes patient care, responsiveness, and professionalism, I highly recommend Piedmont Oral Surgery and Dr. Gollehon.

The tooth extraction was great but Dr accidentally hit him with an elevator tool. That hurts more now then the missing spot. But I recommend Dr B for my man from my own past 2 experiences. Thanks for fitting us in yesterday. JUST USE CAUTION ON THE ELEVATOR... I HAD ONE IN MY MOUTH FOR YRS.

Paid 3,039 upfront for wisdom teeth removal. No insurance. Out of pocket cost for me. They don’t know how to communicate effectively. I went to get the procedure done and waited 4HOURS! Just so that the NURSE could tell me they couldn’t do it because “their equipment” was not functioning.. should’ve called me in the morning or let me know 20 minutes into my appointment time instead of going back and forth and having me wait half a day. Also the way they treat their nurses?? Don’t gotta be so rude to them or yell at them. They are human beings as well. They reschedule me at a different location for tomorrow @0900.. results to be @0845 instead.. let’s see how that goes..

Piedmont Oral and Maxifacial Surgery Center treated me with great care. My procedure was as comfortable as can be, and at no point did I feel like I was in the hands of people who didn’t care. My recovery is ahead of schedule because and I feel that it’s because of the professionalism of the care team. I hope I don’t need this particular treatment again, but if I do I know where to go.

Had the *best* kind of experience here - they made time to see me late in the day after my dentist called for a referral. Really friendly and professional people. The doctor explained everything well and took great care of me. I always felt that my situation was important to him and his staff.
