I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Akber Ali and his team at Precision Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. From the moment I walked in, it was clear this practice operates on a different level.
Dr. Ali is an absolute expert in his field. He took the time to walk me through every step of my procedure so I always knew what to expect. What really stood out was how comfortable and pain free the entire experience was. They offer excellent options to keep procedures as painless as possible, which made a world of difference for someone who’s usually anxious about dental work.
The clinical staff were fast, professional, and clearly experienced. Everything ran efficiently without ever feeling rushed. And a special shoutout to Alexis, who went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Her warmth and attentiveness made me feel genuinely cared for, not just like another patient on the schedule.
I’ve been to several dental and oral surgery offices over the years, and none have made me feel as comfortable, at ease, and well taken care of as this one. If you’re looking for a practice that combines top tier expertise with a truly personal touch, I highly recommend Dr. Ali and his team at POMS. I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know!

Just got my wisdom tooths extracted 2 weeks ago! I was super nervous but Doctor Akber Ali & nurses were so calming and reassuring. Alexis in the front desk is amazing! So sweet and helpful! When I tell you I did not feel anything afterwards, didn’t even need the pain meds! I feel so good after surgery. No nausea, no pain, no inflammation! That just proves how good and equipped they are! 1000000/10

POMS was incredible! They fit me in for an evaluation the same day, and knowing I was in pain, they had me back the next morning for my procedure. The whole team was simply outstanding. The doctor was awesome and made everything easy. Honestly, for something like oral surgery, I was blown away by how positive the experience was. I’m beyond grateful and would recommend them in a heartbeat!”

As a highly anxious person, who does deep research to always find the best of the best I can honestly say you'll find it here. I was so nervous to have 3 wisdom teeth removed as well as going under anesthesia for the first time. The team was incredible, from the front desk, to my nurse Alexis, who calmed me completely while I freaked out about going under and made me feel so comfortable the entire time, she is on point- she is an angel! to Doc Ali who did such an incredible job, was so supportive and I felt 💯 confident in, to the anesthesiologist who had to be patient with my nerves, and the sweet recovery nurse while I woke up, I felt like I was cared for in every single moment. And actually was so happy after I wanted to stay and hang out with them! That's the kind of people you have here. I'm one day out of surgery and already feel so much better. You can rest assured this is the right place to go. Thank you all for everything, you made it truly wonderful (which is crazy to say about surgery ! ) I appreciate your time and care! Got my wisdom teeth extracted at POMS and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Alexis and Dr. Ali were so genuinely sweet and reassuring during the whole process. I was able to call the emergency number during the recovery process with any worries I had and was reassured by Dr. Ali. I would recommend POMS for any extractions needed!
