Pure Smiles is a wonderful practice and Krystal is amazing! As someone who has dental anxiety, she makes treatments smooth and easy. Her confidence and ability to communicate with the patient throughout the process are top-notch and make me feel like I’m in good hands.

I am so very thankful to Dr Stephanie and Tiffany. I had a crown come off. I was able to get an appointment quickly. They gave me a thorough exam and then reset my crown! Very kind and understanding. Office staff was friendly and helpful.

UPDATED REVIEW The clinical care at this office is excellent, which makes this experience even more disappointing. My crown replacement December 8th was painless and professional. Chris, the hygienist, was attentive and kind, and Dr. Cobb communicated clearly throughout the procedure. Unfortunately, the billing experience has been terrible. After being overcharged, I needed a refund and an updated Payment Summary to receive reimbursement from my Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Despite multiple calls and voicemails, the billing department has been extremely difficult to reach, with little to no follow-up. I was told in December the insurance payment hadn’t been received and when it was they would issue a refund and a new Payment Summary. My insurance confirmed they sent the payment December 24th. While I eventually received half of the money I was overcharged yesterday, Jan 19th, I am still waiting on the other half and an updated Payment Summary to recover the other $485 or so I paid previously from my FSA. At this point, the ongoing billing issues and lack of communication have completely overshadowed an otherwise great clinical experience. In this economy, please don’t play with people’s money.

I had the best experience today @ Pure Smiles. I luv, luv, luv my dental hygienist MRS.MICHELLE. She is totally awesome. She is very patient. She answered all of my million questions. Throughout the process of the scanning your teeth and everything she does-she explains it so that you'll understand. She breaks down her findings and what she recommends to correct it. She has very great customer service skills. She makes you feel very comfortable throughout your cleaning. She made me feel like I was part of her family. I love Mrs. Michelle and she is the total best!!!! If your in the market of looking for a new dentist office to get your teeth cleaned at PLEASE consider Pure Smiles on Allentown Rd. in Lima, Ohio, and most definitely request MICHELLE. I give the hygentist a 5 and the billing dept. a 2. We were told one price and we needed to pay half which we did,then when we went to pick up the dentures was told had to pay the other half we did. When it was time to place them,the receptionist said we owed more. She said the insurance did not pay any money on claim. Never was told insurance was filed. Just that the temps. cost one price but we were charged almost $800.00 more than quoted. Was told if we didn't pay they wouldn't honor our appt. I do not believe the recept. should be handling the billing. The office is clean and most employees are nice. Just need to separate depts.
