This was my first time at this practice as I just moved to the area. The dentist themself was great, they listened to all my concerns. The hygienists on the other hand was horrendous. I’ve been to many dental practices and I’ve never had an issue when it comes to oral hygiene. I came in to have a tooth looked at but I was scheduled a cleaning even though I just had one 3 months ago. I told them they can go ahead and do the cleaning since I’m already in the chair. This was the most painful cleaning I’ve ever had. We had to take breaks as I was in so much pain. My previous hygienist told me I had great oral hygiene which again was 3 months ago, but this hygienist told me I had lots of buildup and inflammation. After the cleaning was finished I saw the tray which holds the instruments and there was so much blood. I’ve never had this happen before. I’ve been told I have amazing oral hygiene. Will never go to this practice again .

I've been going to this office for years, and they've taken excellent care of me. From cleanings and fillings to crowns and implants, the work is always top-notch. The whole team is genuinely kind and caring—they always put my best interest first. Highly recommend!

I moved to Quirt because they take Medicare. I made an appointment for a simple six-month cleaning. I ended up being there for two hours. As I was coming from another dentist, Quirt evidently wanted to take their own X-rays. I've never had so many problems with X-rays being taken in my life! The first hygienist couldn't get the pictures she needed, and after she took about ten, asked another hygienist to help. The second girl kept roughly pushing the film-holder-thing down into the bottom of my mouth over and over. I've taken PLENTY of X-rays over 65 years and NEVER had anyone push so roughly, go so deeply, and actually HURT me. She saw me winching and the tears in my eyes. She condescendingly said "it's uncomfortable for everyone". I told her this experience was beyond uncomfortable. X-rays should NOT be this painful. My mouth hurt for an hour afterwards. I know the difference between "uncomfortable" and "pain". I've have several surgeries, an aspiration of the shoulder, nerve root injection, braces done the old fashioned way, plus natural childbirth and have always been given credit for my high pain tolerance. Yes, I've had dental X-rays that were momentarily uncomfortable, but not anything like this situation. I'm now left to wonder if X-rays are indeed "uncomfortable for everyone" here, then this business has equipment which isn't easy to use and requires them to hurt their patients - evidently just an unavoidable situation they don't want to change? Or, is this staff member just careless in how she performs her duties and dismissive of others' discomfort? I even had the thought that she has a negative bias perhaps toward working with senior citizens? I hope that's not the case. The first hygienist apologized profusely for the whole situation privately to me afterwards. She said she left out "smaller" X-ray film things, but that the other girl used the "large" ones. As I said, she apologized profusely, but it doesn't change what happened. I don't take any pleasure is writing this review, and feel I need to be honest.

This was my first visit to Quirt! Friendly and professional service from the first initial call to the greeting at the front desk to Melissa and the Dentist. "Melissa is top notch!!
