Dr. Shaw and her team were amazing! My tooth extraction and recovery went smoothly with no pain. The ladies here made me so comfortable and explained every detail of the procedure and aftercare. Highly recommend!

Came in as an adult for removal of all four wisdom teeth, two of which were impacted. From start to finish the staff was friendly and extremely competent. They answered every question patiently—even the ones that came from limited understanding of the procedure—and made me feel comfortable the entire time. You could tell they genuinely cared and weren’t just going through the motions like at so many other places.
At other consults, surgeons emphasized how close my two lower impacted teeth were to the jaw nerve and the risk of losing sensation afterward. I’m not trying to talk badly about them, but it made me uncomfortable and left me feeling like the focus was more on potential complications than on a clear plan. That’s why I kept looking. What stood out here was the problem-solving mentality from the whole team, and especially the surgeon’s confidence when she walked me through her plan for the surgery. This was the only office that made me feel “at home” with my decision almost immediately. Can’t recommend them enough.

While undergoing surgery with Dr. Itien Emily Shaw, DDS, MD, her professionalism and amazing skill inspire complete confidence as she quickly restores one's health and functionality. Her gentle ease and clear communication complement her so impressive technical ability. I appreciate the kind, informative help from every person I have encountered with Sacramento Surgical Arts staff and I am so very grateful to have been referred to Dr. Shaw.

I had an amazing experience with Sacramento Surgical Arts. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted under general anesthesia and I'm beyond grateful to Dr. Heir, Ezzy, and Tomas (I hope I got the names right😅 ) for the care that they provided. I was nervous going under general anesthesia, but the assistant made sure I was comfortable and answered all of my questions to help my anxiety. She was also very sweet to answer my questions after the procedure as my anesthesia was wearing off. Thankfully, my recovery is very pleasant and I am glad that I trusted SSA with my health. ☺️ 🙏🏻

All the doctors and nurses I have been treated by are wonderful at Sacramento Surgical Arts. I recently had a wisdom tooth surgery and the care they provided which included multiple visits to the clinic after the surgery was great. I was able to get same-day appointments and they went above and beyond to make me comfortable and answer all my queries. I am very happy with the service they provided and the care they showed.
