The office is very inviting and staff is very friendly ~ very important to me since dental surgery was somewhat intimidating. All staff, from front office to surgeon and assistants, took time to answer my questions and put me at ease. My molar extraction and bone graft went very smoothly and I experienced no pain. I was given a detailed set of recovery guidelines and as I drove home my pharmacy texted that my Rx was ready~ I’m very happy with the attention to detail. Two weeks later my follow up appointment went just as smoothly, and the basics of the upcoming implant were discussed.
All costs were discussed and presented prior to proceeding. The office felt relaxed, professional , and not rushed.
I’m very happy and would highly recommend this office for dental surgery.

I am writing this on my teenage son’s behalf after an exceptional experience at Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists. We specifically researched and decided on Dr. Dana Jensen, and he lived up to his reputation. Dr. Jensen is professional, amazing, and soft-spoken; he explained everything clearly and answered every question we had regarding the procedure.
The efficiency was incredible—he removed two fully erupted top wisdom teeth and two horizontal impacted ones in less than 40 minutes under general anesthesia. The recovery was just as smooth; my son was pain-free by the second day using the provided ice pack and post-op instructions. The prescription was sent directly to the pharmacy, making the whole process seamless. His recovery was so fast that he was able to attend his first year of college just three days after surgery!
I also loved the office layout, which includes a discreet side door to wheel patients out to the car. Tarah, the receptionist, was a pleasure to deal with and clearly explained our insurance coverage. I've also had the pleasure to deal with Nora (over the phone) and she was a sweetheart. While they require an appointment security fee over the phone, it is applied directly to the procedure. From the text reminders to the expert care, we are so glad we chose Dr. Jensen!

We had a very pleasant experience with Sac Valley Dental. My daughter had 4 wisdoms extracted by Dr. Nojoumi. I was nervous about the procedure and the preoperative medications that would be used. I sincerely appreciated Dr. Nojoumi taking the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. He didn't rush me, nor did he dismiss my concerns. He made me and my daughter feel comfortable with the procedure. The office staff was very accommodating and very professional. I appreciate Jasmine as well for helping my daughter to relax prior to her procedure and for her follow up checking on my daughter. My daughters' procedure ended up lasting exactly the length of time he stated and her post-op recovery has been going very well. I am so happy that I chose Sac Valley Dental for our dental extraction needs

y'all this place rocks. I got all four wisdom teeth out with local anesthesia, so i was awake for the whole thing. Dr Luke Vera and the assistants (im so sorry I didnt get the name of the assistants who were there, too, but they were so nice. always love to the assistants and techs just as much as the surgeons and doctors fr) were SO NICE!!
all the googling saying it would take 30-60 minutes for the operation? maaaan, the actual procedure took like 15 minutes for me. (anecdotal evidence, so take it with a grain of salt. idk how it'll be for you guys if you're getting your wisdom teeth out, but it was like surprisingly fast.) I also really appreciated how Dr Vera would communicate any expected pressure or noises or anything while it was happening. very nice of him.
saying all this as someone with Huge Anxiety™️, I was less anxious during the procedure than I was waiting for it.
oh, and i will say that setting the appointments beforehand was so easy, too. I ended up talking to someone from a different location, but I think it's just that this whole place has awesome people in it because everyone i've talked to here was so nice and helpful.
im gonna enjoy my soup now and send dumb pics of my swollen post-op face to my friends. thanks! I hope y'all have a million great days and more ^u^

Dr Vera and the staff were fabulous. I was very nervous getting my last impacted wisdom tooth out and I had been in pain leading up to my consultation. He had such a calming demeanor and the staff were all very professional and warm. You can tell they’re compassionate and understanding which means a lot as a human being. Dr Vera recommended a bone graft to support the tooth next to the impacted wisdom tooth. They managed to get me in that very week. Although I was very nervous being sedated, it was the best experience. I’m super grateful to the care and efficiency everyone provided, they are highly recommended.
