I have nothing derogatory to say about SMFD. The service is excellent. Missis Alondra and Dr. Hobie were excellent in their treatment towards my visit. Very kind, very professional, very good work ethics and their empathy to my sensitivity as a patient was marvelous. I commend Missis Alondra for being so professional and caring. With employees Missis Alondra Santa Maria Family Dentistry’s mission to help our community will no doubt meet its expectations. Thank you Alondra.

Everyone at Santa Barbara Family Dentistry is excellent and professional. Julio was especially patient with me, even with my dental anxiety, and treated me with great care. I really appreciate how he helped me feel calm and comfortable during my visit.

I was recently seen at Santa Barbara Family Dentistry. They had a full house but were still able to see me at a reasonable time. Irma took my X-rays and she was very attentive, professional, and had a warm demeanor. The doctor also took the time to answer all my questions and concerns.

I went to Santa Barbara Family Dentistry for a routine teeth cleaning and was told I needed a "deep cleaning" which cost me over $200 in addition to my insurance coverage. On the day of my cleaning my very good dental hygienist told me my teeth were excellent and cleaned my teeth in less than 30 minutes. They billed my insurance for extensive cleaning and told me that they, "couldn't ethically" allow me to have a basic, routine cleaning because "the doctor" mandated a deep cleaning over 2 separate visits due to the poor health of my teeth. I would exercise caution when visiting this practice and share your experiences in a review to warn patients about the petty extortion employed to make a few hundred extra dollars.
