When I went arrived at my appointment the staff were sweet and very kind! During the prepping and after the removal of 2 of my teeth. Dr. Wilson and his assistant, made me feel comfortable, told stories that they had to help keep my mind at ease, and checked multiple times to see how I was feeling while reminding me to take breaths in between the tooth removal. Overall, they are amazing! I would highly recommend them to everyone I know!

The young lady who cleaned my teeth was amazing. She was so gentle. She used warm water for the cleaning because me teeth are sensitive. I recommend your office to everyone. I love the music soundtrack that plays in the back area. Overall a very nice experience which is very unusual for a dental appointment.

I felt the staff from the start to the finish was very friendly and communicated very well from Dr. Wilson‘s assistant who did the x-rays to Dr. Wilson and his exam and then Robin who did my cleaning very informative and I would highly recommend Shasta family dentistry .In the past . going to the dentist was not something I looked forward to. However, the reception staff was awesome and from there, awesome

About Shasta Family Dentistry
Shasta Family Dentistry is a comprehensive and implant dentistry practice serving Redding, California, with a second office in nearby Palo Cedro. The practice describes itself as a dental home for every generation, from children's first cleanings to care for older adults, and offers preventive care, routine checkups, family dentistry, full and partial dentures, oral surgery, gum disease treatment, soft tissue periodontics, emergency dentistry, and cosmetic services such as porcelain veneers, Invisalign, crowns and bridges, and teeth whitening. The team takes a whole-body view of dental care, noting that a healthy mouth is closely tied to overall health, and aims to combine evidence-based dentistry with small-town kindness.
For patients with missing or failing teeth, the practice places single dental implants, implant-supported bridges, and implant-supported dentures, and offers full mouth tooth replacement using the All-on-X full arch protocol, which can provide temporary teeth on the same day as surgery and, in most cases, avoids bone grafting. The practice also states that its dentists have the surgical skills to place zygomatic and pterygoid implants for patients with limited jawbone, and offers zirconia fixed bridges and intravenous sedation dentistry. According to its website, the office uses digital X-rays, intraoral scanners, cone beam computed tomography, an in-house 3D printer and milling machine for same-day crowns and provisional teeth, and the Yomi robotic guidance system for dental implant surgery.

Dr. Wilson graduated from Loma Linda University in 1984 with honors in the oral surgery department, served in the United States Air Force from 1986 to 1991, received an award from the American Dental Association for his service in Bangladesh, and moved to Redding in 1991.
