So very grateful for Dr.Phan and her team, especially Danielle the assistant! They take such good care of my entire family and they are very patient with my children!! You don’t get this kind of quality care anywhere else! Thank you all soooo very much from the bottom of my heart, you all are amazing!! I will continue to refer friends and family because I know they are in good hands! ❤️

I have a huge fear of the dentist and Smilecology has made me feel so comfortable! They have taken great care of my teeth and have fixed a lot of issues I’ve had. I’m super grateful for everyone there!

I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a dental office. I was overcharged $3,700, which didn’t seem right. When I questioned it, I was given multiple conflicting explanations—first that my insurance hadn’t paid, then that insurance checks hadn’t been cashed, and later that the payments were only for future work. After contacting my insurance directly, I was able to confirm that checks had already been issued, received, and cashed by the office. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, the process turned into months of back-and-forth where I had to repeatedly prove that I was being overcharged. During this time, I was treated rudely, and the office manager, Celina, even made an inappropriate and offensive comment implying I had a mental learning disability. Eventually, after all the evidence was presented multiple times, they corrected the overcharge—but by then the damage was done. My implant was left incomplete, and I now have to go to another dentist to finish the work. This entire experience was stressful, frustrating, and completely avoidable. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Save yourself the time, money, and hassle.Stay away from!! Most of the 5 star comments are because they give you a Starbucks gift card with review!

This practice has provided me with the best dental experience and care in my 52 years. Everyone has been fantastic to work with. Celina’s willingness to work with my financial situation is above and beyond what I would have ever expected. Everyone is friendly from the moment they greet you. Dr. Phan has been very patient and thoughtful explaining what options I have for my care. Melissa has been very pleasant to work with as well. I’m truly grateful that I found Smilecology.

Celina, Ashley, and Dr. Phan are amazing. Ashley is incredibly kind and gentle, and she did a great job deep cleaning my teeth after years without a checkup. Celina set me up with an affordable payment plan that was very easy. I highly recommend this team. So happy with Smilecology

Smilecology is a wellness-focused dental office at 3400 N Dysart Rd, Suite G 125 in Avondale, Arizona, serving patients from Avondale, Litchfield Park, Goodyear, and the surrounding West Valley communities. Led by Dr. Thihan C. Phan, the practice offers a complete range of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, including cleanings and exams, fillings, tooth extractions, crowns and bridges, root canals, gum disease treatment, dentures, veneers, teeth whitening, Invisalign clear aligners, sleep apnea and jaw joint (TMJ) treatment, emergency care, and sedation dentistry. The office describes its approach through three C's: capability, comfort, and convenience, and emphasizes upfront price transparency so patients and their dentist, not insurance companies, decide on care.
For patients missing one tooth or several, Smilecology places and restores dental implants in house. The process begins with a consultation that includes digital X-rays and a 3D scan of the jawbone, followed by a personalized plan that may involve a single implant, multiple implants, or a full arch of implant-supported dentures. Implants are placed under local anesthetic using precision-guided methods, and after a healing period of roughly three to six months a custom crown, bridge, or denture is attached. The office also uses CEREC same-day technology to design and mill ceramic crowns in a single visit. Smilecology accepts PPO insurance benefits and offers no-interest financing through CareCredit and Springstone. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Dr. Thihan C. Phan, DDS, founded Smilecology and is the practice's dentist. Originally from San Diego, she earned her bachelor's degree at the University of California, San Diego and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry. She then served as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas, where she received additional advanced training in reconstructive, cosmetic, implant, surgical, and orthodontic dentistry. Her post-graduate implant and advanced surgery training includes the California Implant Institute, the Misch Implant Institute, and the Sclar Implant Center, along with TMJ training through Occlusal Connections. Dr. Phan is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of GP Orthodontics, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
