I went to the dentist regularly with my previous provider, yet, my enamel was gone, my dentin exposed, my teeth crumbling, and all teeth were sensitive. It was time for a change! At my first appointment with Dr. Simper, I looked at him and asked what he thought needed to happen. I fully expected him to recommend dentures - I felt defeated and hated when people saw my teeth. He smiled, gave me his honest opinion and proceeded to tell me the plan he had for me - I finally had hope. He assembled a "dream team" of Dr. Greg Brown, orthodontist, and Dr. Vikas Puri, Periodontist. The three of them worked together throughout my four + years of treatment - meeting often to discuss my treatment. All three providers were encouraging, professional, compassionate, and considerate. The staff at Southridge Dental took a team approach working with me through all stages of my treatment. They worked patiently with my insurance, and kept me informed throughout all phases. Each appointment, Dr. Simper would tell his staff, "remind me to show you the before pictures, you won't believe it". Now, my teeth are aligned, after my crown lengthening, my teeth are fully visible, and all my teeth have beautiful crowns on them. No more choosing what I will eat based on what I can chew, no more cringing when someone sees my smile.

Dr. Kayla is always so sweet and caring with her patients. I recently took my grandpa to one of his appointments, and since he only speaks Spanish, he was especially grateful that Dr. Kayla made the effort to communicate with him in Spanish. He also appreciated how gentle and kind she was throughout his visit. After the appointment, he told me this is one of the best dental offices he’s ever been to. At his previous dental office, they were very rough and unkind while working on his dentures, so this experience meant a lot to him. Dr. Kayla truly made a huge difference, and now he’s genuinely excited to get his new dentures. Thank you for making your patients feel comfortable, cared for, and respected.

Fabulous experience at Southridge Dental! Very nice people and I could tell that my hygienist (Cassidy) enjoyed being there. They really take the time to get things right and communicate well. They make it more comfortable than any dentist office I have ever been to! I chose the lavender heated neck wrap...I loved how they set themselves apart with all of the little thoughtful and functional touches. Cassidy did a very thorough cleaning (it had been about a year and a half since I had been to a dentist for x-rays and a cleaning) so I had more tarter than usual. She cleaned and polished my teeth, (and had to work extra hard on my lower teeth,) while also educating me on some preventative tips. Dr Lu was very kind and easy to talk to. He was up-front about 2 areas that need some attention (a cavity that may be starting in one spot that he will keep an eye on,) and orthodontics in the future to help with my lower crowding (which will in turn help the tarter build up.) He was very laid-back and did not push me to have any services that I didn't absolutely need right now. I had a wonderful experience here and I highly recommend Southridge Dental. My favorite hygienist has left. The current staff is efficient but they kind of talk to the patients as if we're children. Nevertheless, I would say I trust their skills and expertise. They go out of their way to make patient very comfortable.

Dr Kayla and her team are the absolute best. As a new patient, I was nervous going in, but everyone was so welcoming and made sure I was comfortable. It was my first time getting dental work and she made it a breeze. Thank you!
