Dr. Johnson and the other staff here were great. Facilities are clean, modern, and organized. Shout out to Meredith for her prompt responses and for making complicated insurance navigation significantly less complicated! Really appreciated the financial transparency and sensitivity.
Had a bone graft here and it went very, very well. Don't think I could be more pleased with my 6 month x-rays.

I recently went through my first dental surgery (crown lengthening) with this clinic. I have had a very good experience with the clinic at all levels from the front reception and billing staff, to the assistant who conducted my initial intake, and to Dr. Johnson and his assistants before and during my procedure. I found everyone to be very patient, taking the time to answer all my questions and communicating information very effectively and thoroughly before and after the procedure. I had a fair amount of trepidation going in, having never had a dental procedure requiring sedation, but it could not have gone any more smoothly. Zero discomfort during the procedure. I would not hesitate to return in the future if I need their services (though I hope I won't need to!) or recommend them to others. Thank you!
June 2026 Update: I recently had my last status appontment with Dr. Johnson, and I was very pleased to learn I was fully healed from the procedure with zero complications and minimal discomfort during the recovery process. My regular dentist just finished the crown/restoration and the periodontic procedure appeared to work perfectly with no need for any follow-on care/adjustments. Thank you, Dr. Johnson and staff!

Dr Johnson and his staff are amazing. I've had several gum grafts and all the way through the process they answered my question and gave me lots of support. I'd return for any service with this group!

Dr. Johnson and his staff are wonderful! I've had 2 gum graft surgeries done by Dr. Johnson, and each time he and his staff did a great job--they made sure I had everything I needed, and they took their time answering my questions and making me feel comfortable. Dr. Johnson himself even called me several days after each surgery to check on how I was doing and whether I needed anything. It's so nice to have a periodontist and staff that are not only well-skilled at what they do, but also care about their patients--thank you!

This review is solely referring to the office staff here. I was told initially the person who could schedule was out of office for a week and I would receive a call back. After 2 weeks I called back and left a voicemail with no response. This has happened now 2 more times. No one will call back to schedule an appointment. Business must be good as patients are not important.
Update: I did receive a call back after my last attempt and after I had written this review. The office staff apologized for the mishap and I was scheduled in the earliest next slot. I was pleased that they appeared to care. But two days later after reading I had left the prior review my appointment was cancelled. Their initial approach was I wouldn't be comfortable having surgery here since I wrote the review. I stated my issue was with office communication not the Dr. My appointment was cancelled regardless. So, in other words, I was cancelled for writing a negative review. Of note, I value customer service higher than anything and I find it very lacking today. This is why I write reviews, both positive and negative. It appears Spokane Periodontics is only interested in maintaining positive reviews. Another sad day!
