Highly recommend Dr. Sexton and this location. Everyone from the receptionist, to the dental assistants were so professional. The facility is extremely clean and feels very high touch, and the entire process of getting my two teeth extracted was honestly seamless. Dr. Sexton did an amazing job explaining and talking me through everything, made me feel so comfortable and truly did a great job because my pain is basically non existent. Thank you so much to the Summit Oral team - so happy I found you!

This morning I came here to get my wisdom tooth removed, and as soon as I walked in, I immediately got an off feeling. It was extremely dirty in there, and honestly looked ghetto. I arrived there for my appointment 15 minutes early and I didn’t get helped until 10:30 when my original appointment time was 9:30 and there were no other clients in the waiting room. When I got back there, there was tools all over the ground, stuff thrown everywhere and all the tools were extremely dirty. I am extremely disgusted and disappointed with the service this “business”has to offer. Do not come here.

Do yourself a favor and choose Gregory Egbert. Dr. Egbert performed my upper jaw surgery in June, and now I am pleased to say that I NO LONGER HAVE CHRONIC JAW PAIN. My teeth fit together as they should! Was I full of fear and skepticism those 9 long months leading up to my surgery date? Yes. But my nerves were no match for this man. Dr. Egbert repeatedly called and reassured me— taking the time and care to answer all of my questions.
As I was being prepped for surgery, Dr. Egbert came and talked me through the process as excitedly/casually as a teacher getting their student ready for commencement. His energy helped me look at the whole experience with positivity rather than fear. When I saw him again in the OR, the anesthesia was already beginning to work its magic. That being said, surgery is a big deal, and I began to cry. I am truly touched when I recall the last clear memory I have: Dr. Egbert’s kind touch, his comforting words, and honestly? Him chattering on about his German shepherd and how smart she is, opening gates at home, etc. etc. etc. 😂
… and then BAM! Next thing I know I’m in the PACU with my brand-new jaw.
The man is a highly qualified surgeon. He performs multiple jaw surgeries a day, multiple days a week. He’s been doing it for over 30 years. Your in capable hands. But in addition to that, he is also just a top-tier human being who will help you relax as you move through this. It’s going to be great!

Intake Staff was friendly, fast and personable. Dr. Cameron Egbert made the appointment so comfortable, especially where I was anticipating my daughter’s anxiety, as well as very detailed in depth of procedure process yet simplified. He gave us referrals for the other two visits we will need through the process and that was a relieving factor not to need to figure out. Great office and we were so grateful that is how this journey started! ~Kendra

I don't usually leave reviews but Dr. Egbert and the staff at Summit really saved the day when I was in a bad situation. I was getting my wisdom teeth out at a different clinic and the inexperienced provider ran into some complications and couldn't finish the job, sending me on my way, confused and in pain, with two-and-a-half wisdom teeth left. Summit was able to get me in the very next day and the experience was as good as oral surgery can be. The staff is caring, professional, and smart. Dr. Egbert has such a calm demeanor and is totally honest and forthcoming. His experience really shows! The staff answered all my questions and perfectly explained the aftercare instructions. Dr. Egbert even called me later that night to see how I was doing.
The waiting room has a pleasant, calming waterfall fountain, good lighting, smells of a hint of tropical citrus, and the music is the perfect volume. The exam room I was in had a sweeping, majestic view of the Wasatch. Oral surgery is an unpleasant, scary thing, but this place was such a breath of fresh air compared to the previous clinic I visited.

Dr. Tepper is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who earned his dental degree at The Ohio State University and completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Minnesota, gaining experience in extractions, anesthesia, corrective jaw surgery, and implantology.
