Five stars for Sarah Chase! She gave me an excellent cleaning and went above and beyond taking extra care of me because I had a dental infection during my visit. She’s professional, knowledgeable, and truly one of the best hygienists I’ve seen since Crysty Foleck was my first hygienist at The Foleck office. Coupled with great care from Dr. Doby, I couldn't be more impressed with this practice.

I chose the office, after I spent 10 years with my previous dentist, based on the good reviews the office has and its location. The first appointment was for the evaluation and performing the X-rays, and it went with no issues. I asked to be scheduled with a hygienist for a routine cleaning. I was placed on the waiting list to receive a text notification of cancellation and availability. The first appointment had to be canceled, when I was at the office at the time of my appointment, because the visiting hygienist couldn't make it and didn't show up. I picked up another appointment when I got a call from the office, the night of the appointment, to cancel again. I informed the office that it is the second time and it really messes up my work schedule. I was told to keep the appointment after they tried to cancel it for no reason. I thought it was for a regular cleaning as requested but it was for another evaluation with a treatment plan for Perio Scaling and root cleaning. It is a 3-phase plan and has over $900 of out-of-pocket copayments. I had to meet the office manager to explain that I have my own periodontist who has been doing an excellent job for the last 10 years and he does my root cleaning twice a year. The answer was unexpected. It is the recommendation of the hygienist and it has to be done at the center before scheduling a regular cleaning. If I don't like it, I can go somewhere else. After a couple of days, I found that I was placed again at the text notification of availability. I thought that the issue was solved and I picked another appointment. I was called the day of the appointment and was informed that the appointment had to be canceled again because I had to do the deep cleaning first. I asked for a referral to go and do the deep cleaning at my regular periodontal office as he requested a referral from the new dental center in order to look into their plan, and to see what is needed. The office manager replied that the office will give me no referral to use my regular periodontal service. What the clinic is doing is pure upselling, unprofessional, and unethical. I may also check the legality of its practice when I contact the board of dentistry.

My experience was NOT good. Had issues with 2 back teeth. They said the best thing to do would be to remove them in put in implants. They let me know how much it would cost with my Delta Dental. This was a HUUUUGE mistake. First off.. it took them almost 16 months to finally finish the job. and they charge me much more than quoted. Although they knew I had Delta Dental, they had a dentist that did not take D.D. do the work.. and then charged me full price. I wish that was the end of my experience. On top of that... instead of putting back 2 teeth, they put in 1 block tooth that took up about 1 and 1/2 the space the 2 teeth were. When they did the one tooth, I asked about the second tooth, they said, well.. we figured this would be the better way to go... Never asked my opinon.. they just did it. I haven't been back since... DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! My daughter actually went there for invisalign and it was a horrible experience as well.

This dental office is a fraud. Please check your EOBs and be sure you aren’t being overcharged. My insurance covers two free cleaning a year. I got a bill in the mail for $40.and asked why I was charged for my free routing cleaning and I was told because the dentist saw me. Well, isn’t that what a routine check-up includes?
Also, if they say you have multiple cavatities, get a second opinion. I was told my son had 5. I knew better so I took him back to his original dentist at Beach Dental off of Laskin Road (one of the best dentist in VB) and he only has 2. I’m so glad to have new insurance and back where I know the staff operate with professional integrity.

This dentist office was all about the upsell. I had been seeing my regular dentist/hygienist for 10 plus years with the occasional cavity etc and regular cleanings. He retires. I go to this office because it was conveniently located for me, and immediately the hygienist is trying to get me to do all manner of expensive and unnecessary work, claiming I have terrible gum disease and that I will have to start getting cleanings multiple times a year. I go to another dentist, and everything is fine again. I am $900 poorer from having been there. Do not recommend.

About The Foleck Center for Cosmetic, Implant, & General Dentistry
The Foleck Center For Cosmetic, Implant, & General Dentistry serves patients throughout Virginia Beach from its office on South Independence Boulevard, near Virginia State Route 165 and Mount Trashmore Park. The practice offers a full range of dental implant solutions, including single tooth implants, All-on-4 full arch restoration, and implant supported dentures, alongside general and cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and dentures and partials. Patients from Great Neck, Bay Colony, Sandbridge, and surrounding Virginia Beach neighborhoods visit this location for both routine dental care and more advanced tooth replacement procedures.
The office uses digital X-rays, 3D imaging, and intraoral cameras to plan implant procedures with precision, and the practice maintains an in-house dental lab with a certified dental technician to help expedite custom crowns, bridges, and other restorations. For patients missing one tooth or a full arch, the team walks through options ranging from single implants to implant supported overdentures, working to match treatment to each patient's bone health, budget, and goals. The Virginia Beach location is part of a small multi-location Hampton Roads practice, so patients can expect the same implant focused care here as at the group's other offices.
