I am rating this based on my last visit. I had an experience I have never had in the 26+ years I have been going here. I would have rated a 5 Star normally, but my last visit needs attention. First of all I had to wait 45 minutes for my appt. Never waited more than 5 minutes in the past. Second when I did get called for my cleaning the hygienist spent 15 minutes cleaning my teeth. There’s no way she cleaned my teeth in 15 minutes. My visits usually consists of checking gums for pocket depth, a deep scaling, etc. I asked if they were sure my teeth were cleaned thoroughly because this was an extremely short appt. Was told my teeth were pretty clean. I didn’t change my routine so I knew better. Could still feel the tarter build up. I left the office very uncomfortable with the service. I decided to go back and tell them I really don’t think a good job was done so now I go from an 11am appt that was 45 minutes late to a new appt at 2:20 and another mediocre cleaning. Again, never experienced this before and hope I don’t experience it again.

I came here to get a second opinion, and I am so glad I did. The staff were all very friendly and kind, and the doctor was incredibly professional. He explained exactly what was needed to improve my oral health, took the time to answer all of my questions, and explained everything clearly.What I was previously told I needed done elsewhere turned out to be completely unnecessary, more invasive, and way more expensive than what I will end up paying for my treatments here. I highly recommend Tri-Cities Periodontics and Implants to anyone struggling with periodontal disease.

Everyone that helped and examined me on the day of appointment showed the highest level of professionalism, from desk assistant to dental assistant to the dentist himself. I'm extremely pleased with this dental office, and with Dr. Alkanan recommendations, and service.

I am so nervous about dentist visits, but everyone is so kind and friendly. Lily helped me on my latest visit and she continually checked to make sure I was ok. That made things not so scary. Thank you everyone. You are all terrific.
