I will come back after my surgery & update my review but for now ill say this, I went for the initial consultation for my xrays and whatnot & it was good, they seem pretty nice so far. I am super scared of dentists & especially where I am getting the rest of my teeth pulled (19 left) all at once, I am so so scared & praying that it goes better then what I am thinking and reading for reviews. I dont want bone fragments left while i am healing because those hurt like hell but I am also waiting to get my dentures until AFTER I heal so I am not spending more to realign them (smarter to wait anyways) but once i get the surgery done ill update this & again after I get my dentures. Praying for the best but expecting the worst unfortunately just purely because of my fear of needles and dentists.
°•☆•°☆°UPDATE 04/30/2026°☆•°☆•°
Had 19 teeth pulled today @ 7:15am
everhone there knew how nervous & scared I was purely because of needles, It took 1½ hours total from getting called back to leaving. I wasn't really awake for a lot of it & if I was i do not fully remember , I only remember bits & pieces but as promised I didn't really know what was going on ✅️ Dr. King is a dental QUEEN! I appreciate everything thus far from her & her amazing staff! Now, I cannot wait to have my new chompers in a couple months so I can eat again!
Affordable, local & the nicest people ever there!
Thank you Twin City Dental!

"Dr. Louise King" is not a good doctor. DO NOT go to this Dentist, she cuts and runs as soon as there is a problem and will refuse to speak to you as a patient to discuss resolution. I went in for a cleaning on 10/07/2025 and was told I had a small cavity. Now looking at the Xrays, I am not sure how she determined that because the Xrays she takes are extremely blurry and I don't know how you could even see this on the Xrays she took! I was then scheduled for and went in for a simple small filling and came out with an incorrectly placed filling that isn't bonded correctly. I have been unable to eat properly on my left side since 10/14/2025 when the filling was done. She never checked my bite with inclusion paper that day. After the filling was done, I had to go in for two adjustments on 10/28/2025 and 11/04/2025 as the filling was too high and I could not bite correctly as it was hitting. After the second adjustment, I still noticed an issue where food would get stuck in a certain spot, almost as if there was not enough filling material in that area and it is very painful when food hits there. I was able to have one phone call with Louise on 11/24/2025 and she was extremely flippant and certainly did not care about what I was going through. She insisted something about me possibly having a "crack" in my tooth that we wouldn't be able to see and that I could possibly need a mouthguard. How do we go from a filling to a mouthguard?? My tooth was perfectly fine before all of this! She also insisted that I needed to give it many months for the sensitivity to go away and I explained I felt it was beyond that and the filling just didn't feel right in my tooth. She was annoyed and blurted out that she could take it out and redo the filling to "keep me satisfied" and at this point with her lack of attention during the first procedure and her subsequent dealings with my tooth, I decided I did not feel comfortable with her redoing the filling. I have since gone to another Dentist who has evaluated my tooth and let me know it was not placed correctly or bonded correctly and will need to be redone. My tooth literally feels like an entirely different tooth and understandably any surgery on any part of your body is going to have a healing process and take time, but what Louise has left me with is beyond that. I have called the office several times since speaking with Louise on the phone and have requested that the claim filed with my insurance company on 10/14/2025 be reversed as I am not satisfied with what was done and will need to have another Dentist bill to fix this. Louise has TOTALLY refused to reverse the claim and give me a refund as she says the "service was rendered". She DOES NOT stand by her work and she has REFUSED to speak to me on the phone again as of yesterday when I called the office. Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this "Dentist", she barely speaks to you during appointments anyway, so I should have gone with my gut feeling and went somewhere else. If I could give negative stars I would.

I dislike dentists, however this practice changed my mind. I needed a new denture, the staff was wonderful, the service was kind and friendly, the denture is the most comfortable one I have ever had. Dr. King and her staff are the best.

Clean and spacious waiting area. Nice staff. I was able to get in quickly. Imaging my teeth was quick and I got to stay in my chair for all of it. They explained things in an easy to understand way. The dentist cleaned my teeth and they looked great when I was done.

I would like to share my experience with Twin City Dental in Bangor Maine. The best accommodating respectful caring staff I have ever had in my 50 years of going to a dental facility. I recently started going to Twin City Dental and they set up a plan to evaluate and set up a plan to completely get me back to saving my teeth which others I had 3 other offices mind you kept telling me to get a specialist and would turn me away. Twin City Dental initiated a dental plan starting with scaling top and bottom roots. 3 teeth extractions and with continued cleanings and care things are 100% better. I highly recommend this dental facility. Pain free and such a relaxing environment and experienced caring respectful staff. Dr King you are amazing and so is your entire staff. Thank you. I finally found my comfort level with you.
