I had troubles with my dental payments, but Giselle really handled the issue to the best exception! She is very patient and works very efficiently and collaboratively cooperates! She is a very good person and will make your day! She listens and she understands instead of backlashing, which is very awesome about her. Thank you so much for everything!

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! I just had to make a review because this is ridiculous. I paid my braces off they sent me a bill showing it was $0 then when it was time to remove my braces they said I owed $800 but when I showed them the proof they said it was a mistake on their end… they didn’t notice my insurance didnt cover it all till it was time for me to deband! I waited to come up with the $800 to pay so I can get them removed.(single mom) They sent me a letter to get them removed…. Which fine I was 3 minutes late and they cancelled lol. (Which I understand it’s my fault but 3 mins is crazy!!!! Also the front desk staff is HORRIBLE the billing team HORRIBLE. They suck at communication and I’m HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! Just money hungry to me

This is a very busy office! I have had good and bad experiences here. My first two visits I just walked out after waiting hours past my scheduled appointment. I felt like I was lost in their waiting room. No one could offer an explanation. Why even make an appointment if they aren’t going to see you? Because of my insurance this is the only office I can go to for deep cleaning of my teeth. Without choice I had to return to them. My exact was different this visit. They were on time and once I was examined I had built confidence in the Doctors. The deep cleaning went well and the lady who worked on me was very good. Her name is Judy and she tried everything to ensure my teeth were as clean as possible. I also had two extractions done recently. My Doctor was excellent! His assistant was excellent as well. They did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. Things like a pillow for my neck, soft music to keep you calm. They both worked well together. The extractions went well and I was very pleased with the outcome. So what first seemed like a bad experience turned out to be a good one. The office did make major changes during this period and all of them have been effective. Unfortunately they stopped accepting my insurance so I’ll have to yet find another Dentist. West 10th Street Dental is recommended by me.

Dr. Patterson is hands down the best Endodontist I have ever had. He takes the time to explain in good detail to his patients about the care they will be receiving. He is very gentle and meticulous with his work. I was very comfortable the entire time and even though root canals aren’t pleasant— he did everything he could to make it the best experience possible. I would recommend him to anyone! Also, a special thank you to his assistant, Kamaal. Hands down the best team in Indy to get Endodontic treatment from. ☺️

I love this dental office from routine care, to oral surgery, to orthodontics. They are very professional and take the time to explain anything they are doing. They are always willing to answer any question we have and my kids actually don’t dread visiting the dentist now. The entire staff is friendly and makes each appointment enjoyable.

About West 10th Dental Group

West 10th Dental Group has served the west side of Indianapolis since 1985, when Dr. Brent Barta opened a single office with the goal of bringing every kind of dental care under one roof. That original vision grew into a multi specialty practice at 6443 West 10th Street, where general dentists work alongside specialists in oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. For patients considering dental implants, this setup means a tooth replacement plan, from the surgical placement of the implant to the final crown, can often be coordinated by one team in one building rather than being split across separate referrals.

The practice offers a full range of implant options, including single tooth implants, full arch and full mouth implants, and periodontal care to treat gum disease before or alongside implant placement. Patients can also access general dentistry, clear aligners, cosmetic dentistry, and laser gum treatment at the same location. With a large team of dentists and specialists seeing patients of all ages, West 10th Dental Group aims to give west side Indianapolis residents a convenient, comprehensive path from an initial consultation through the completion of implant treatment.

Meet the Doctors

West 10th Dental Group brings together a large team of dentists and dental specialists so patients can get many kinds of care in one place. The general dentists at the practice are Dr. Emily Benson, a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine; Dr. Taylor Christensen, who trained at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine; Dr. Sonia Dhingra, who earned her dental degree from Indiana University; Dr. Katie Klaes, a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry; Dr. James Parsey, also a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry; and Dr. Stacey Rochman, who trained at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. For gum care, the practice has three periodontists, which are dentists who focus on the gums and the structures that support the teeth: Dr. Jay Bowling, Dr. Kaveri Kranti Gandhi, and Dr. Burton Largura, all graduates of Indiana University School of Dentistry. Children are cared for by Dr. Kathleen Bradley and Dr. Kelli Lucia, both pedodontists, which means dentists who specialize in treating children; each trained at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Robert Holland, an orthodontist, helps patients straighten their teeth and improve their bite, and Dr. Samuel Patterson, an endodontist, focuses on root canal treatment. With this full team under one roof, patients of all ages can have most of their dental needs met at a single location.
